Hey everyone,
I’ve been putting together my home studio for a while now, but I mostly use software and a basic MIDI controller. I think it’s time to add some hardware, but I don’t want to waste money on stuff that just looks cool but doesn’t actually do much.
For an audio interface, I’ve been looking at the Focusrite Scarlett series. Is it still good, or is there something better for the same price? I’m also checking out small synths like the ones from Behringer. They seem pretty cheap, but are they worth it, or should I save up for something bigger like a Korg or Moog?
Also, I’m only using headphones right now (don’t judge), so I really need to grab some monitors. I’ve seen people talk about KRK Rokits, but are they actually worth the price? Any other budget monitors that sound good?
What are you using in your setup? I’m especially curious about affordable gear that actually makes a difference.
