Melox ProMELOX PRO. THE FIRST STUDIO-GRADE MELODICA Melodica never was taken seriously until today. You won’t find a professionally sampled one out there. This is why we made the first Studio-Grade Melodica. Adding a layer of scripting we recreated the expressiveness of a real instrument, including release velocities, noises, key clicks, air sound, and mechanics. Also we made it Binaural for increasing realism. Check out the video to see what Melox Pro is able to do. FEATURES Melox Pro is perfect for soloing and also for chord playing. We fine-tuned it until it sounds like no other one. Perfect tuning, fast attack, expressive releases and no chasis vibration.
REAL ARTICULATIONS FROM REAL PLAYING We’ve captured everything from a melodica. Even the key noises and air sounds. And we captured articulations from real playing. Meaning we play a song along (Autumn Leaves in fact) and we stop playing on every note we want to capture as a new articulation. This technique makes MELOX Pro Melodica sound like a real one.

With independent adjustments for signature, speed, spread value, and accent, users can effortlessly explore various rhythmic combinations without feeling overwhelmed. This thoughtful design allows for natural experimentation and encourages creative exploration, making polyrhythms accessible to musicians and producers of all skill levels. A Rare Bass Drum The “bombo legüero” is a drum popular in Latin American folklore. It owes its name to the characteristic it is believed to have, which is being heard even at 6 miles of distance. It consists of two leather membranes with hair attached to a box made from a hollowed trunk secured by straps made of leather or rawhide. Both the rims and the membranes are struck with leather-covered mallets called sticks or drumsticks. The legend tells that a butcher in a village, who lived in the middle of the countryside, had a drum to inform neighbors that he had meat for sale. Crew Algorithm Drumbada faithfully replicates the organic imperfections of a dynamic ensemble of 15 percussionists playing together. With precise control over the timing of each group of percussionists, you can finely adjust the rhythmic feel to suit your composition. Additionally, manipulate accents with ease to emulate the nuanced impact of subtle or strong hits, bringing authenticity and depth to your drum tracks. Featuring an intuitive interface and a user-friendly mouse-drag UI zone, Drumbada grants you unparalleled control over your sound by seamlessly integrating multiple parameters into a single, effortless gesture. This transformative capability positions Drumbada as an indispensable creative tool, ideal for both live performances and studio composition alike. Features

KLAVEEKLAVEE: RARE CZECH ELECTRIC PIANO, RESTORED. Klavee is the virtual restoration of a gem. The Czech Klaviphon. A plucked electric piano manufactured in the 60s in the Czech Republic. There’s no other Electric Piano like this one and it’s never been recreated into a virtual instrument, until now. A rare-piece specially made for electric piano collectors. Sound is generated by reeds plucked by wooden hammers. Sound on lower octaves is the classical reed-based. On upper register, the timbre turns in to a Kalimba-like sound, due to the nature of the hammer-hit direction (from bottom to top on the reed-edge). The Czech Klaviphon is almost extinct. No parts can be found online and just a few of them still alive. This is why we wanted to make a virtual version of it. To keep its unique sound for further generation of musicians. KLAVEE was built upon spectral modeling. A technique that assures perfect tone matching with the original instrument. MAIN FEATURES:

19591959. HIDDEN ELECTRO-ACOUSTIC PIANO 1959 by Sampleson is based on the Electro-Acoustic Piano patent (lifetime expired) registered in 1959. We brought it to life using spectral modeling. Sound can be described as a CP80-like but a bit more tuned due to the fewer number of strings. 1959 AUDIO DEMOS 1959 can be described as RAW. Despite the reverb included, 1959 is minded to be heavily processed with anything you want. It will melt perfectly with choruses, flangers, phasers, etc. Demos were recorded with and without effects (factory free FXs included in GarageBand). THE EXPERIENCE OF RECREATING A FORGOTTEN ELECTRO-ACOUSTIC PIANO PATENT. Does it sound like the original one? We don’t know, because it has never been built. And we won’t build it (at the moment). But the experience of bringing to life an instrument that never existed, was super-exciting. The resulting sound of this virtual instrument is warm, clean and bright. The expressiveness of the piano action we emulated gives it a nice and wide range of timbres. From warm lows to metallic shines on higher velocities. The original patent proposes an idea about string vibration direction that improves the pickup effectiveness. PRODUCT DETAILS

Reed200 V2WHAT’S NEW IN VERSION 2 Our main modeling engine was rebuilt, and now it allows us to do thing we had in mind for more than a year. Spectral modeled Reed-EP PRODUCT DETAILS
SPECTRAL MODELED REED-BASED EP As in our Markus 88, we did most of the jobs manually. Despite the deep spectrum analysis we used to decode the timbre DNA, we focused on recreating the real feel of pushing down a key in a real model. THE REED TIMBRE RECREATION What we’ve learned is that the main difference between tines and reed is the perfect octaves harmonics (meaning 12 semitones up, 24, 36, 48, etc). Envelope for those partials are quite louder than in a tine-based EP and this is one of the main secrets of reed-ep timbre You can play a bit with this characteristic with our “Color” slider on our main interface. WHAT EXACTLY IS SPECTRAL MODELING? According to Julius O. Smith (Standford) Spectral modeling provides a sound representation much closer to the perception of sound by the brain because your ear and brain are in fact spectral decoders.

Model TINTRODUCING MODEL T – Spectral modeled 80s EP A classic of the late 70’s and 80’s. We recreated a classic 80s EP by Spectral Modeling, offering the real sound and feel of the simplest electromechanical piano in the history in just 30MB. Carefully crafted. Detailed recreation of every single mechanical noise and main timbre. No velocity swithching since is not sample-based. Available for Mac & Win, Standalone and Plug-in versions. PRODUCT DETAILS
MODEL T SOUND This was one of the most affordable and common eletromechanical piano produced in the late 70’s. Based on reeds, it generates a warm, bell-like but dark tone. It does not includes sustain pedal, due his simple mechanics and easily replaceable pieces. But we included the option to activate the sustain pedal on our modeled recreation. Also we recreated mechanics sound, very present in every sound. (Controlable individually on our instrument) AN 80S CLASSIC Late in the 70’s was launched a simple yet powerful electromechanical piano. Manufactured betwen 1977 and 1982, this classic electr-mechanical piano was one of the simplest EPs in the history. Based on reeds, ands sticky pads, the it offers a “Reed” like sound but with a much more present mechanical noises due the proximity of the mechanics to the keyboard itself. It does not offers a sustain pedal or volume/tone controls. Despite this his tone makes extremely effect-friendly as many of the vintage EPs WHAT EXACTLY IS SPECTRAL MODELING? Every sound in nature can be decomposed into simple sine waves. From a bird tweet to a trumpet note. Spectral modeling is the process of analyzing and creating a sound by stacking simple sine waves. According to Julius O. Smith (Standford) Spectral modeling provides a sound representation much closer to the perception of sound by the brain because your ear and brain are in fact spectral decoders.

MetaPianoSpectral Modelled Grand Piano MetaPiano is the first Spectral Modeled Grand Piano out there. It was built upon real sound captures from a Japanese Concert Grand Piano, and meticulously rebuilt by math algorithms. It’s so realistic you won’t believe it is not the real instrument. And so lightweight you can email it. The Process It all started with the search for the perfect piano to analyze its sound. Sampleson fell in love with a Japanese Concert Grand Piano and deeply recorded it, capturing every nuance to feed our spectral analysis with high-quality audio sources. A peaceful studio located in Patagonia gave them the noiseless scenario they needed to capture crystal-clear waveforms with top industry Mics and Preamps. Then the real process begins. A custom-made algorithm disassembles the audio and extracts the main characteristics for each note and noise. Finally, their Spectral Engine 2.0 generates the sound every time you play it, making every note unique and irreplaceable since it’s created on the fly. Hyper-detailed Spectral Modeled Grand Piano MetaPiano was made upon Spectral Modeling, a technique that provides realistic sounds since it’s based on real samples and not hypothetical approaches like physical modelling. Sampleson mapped more than 64 groups of timbre components (releases, hammer, key noises, main timbre, resonance, etc) and recreated them by Spectral Modeling, archiving a realistic and warm sound in only 60 MB, and with very low CPU usage. Full Decays (No Loops) Thanks to the Spectral Engine, MetaPiano reproduces the full length of the real notes without loops. You’ll hear decays for a minute and more on lower notes. No Velocity Sweeping MetaPiano is built upon the full dynamics of the real instrument. There’s no velocity switching because there are no layers or regions or anything that old sampling techniques needs. Features

MARKUS 88SPECTRAL MODELED ELECTRIC PIANO We decoded and analyzed a vintage electric piano sinewaves spectrum for every note and every velocity, and recreated it manually. When you play a note on Markus, the exact same sound for the original instrument will be generated (no samples involved) And we did it manually. Every single harmonic was tuned by ear. Like in acoustic piano tuning, the final touch is always made manually, and no tuning software or algorithm is able to replace that. PRODUCT DETAILS
DECODING THE ELECTRIC PIANO GENOME Every sound in nature is a complex spectrum of harmonics. The combination of those harmonics makes every sound unique and easy to be identified by humans. Doing the reverse engineering for finding the harmonics that makes a tine-based electric piano sound like a tine-based electric piano is a complex task. We disassembled tine-based electric piano timbre into the minimal parts a sound can be split. And reassembled into a fully expressive virtual instrument. WHAT’S NEW ON VERSION 1.5? This is more than an update. We redesigned the entire harmonic spectrum and behaviors. Bells are more natural, low range is darker and overall velocity responses were improved. Update Features:

Reed106REED106. THE FIRST EVER-CHANGING MODELED ELECTRIC PIANO Reed106 is the first modeled piano that is always changing. Every note, every day, every month. Reed106 creates small variations of itself every time you play it (reproducing temperature, humidity, power supply fluctuations in real life) This eliminates one of the most frustrating things in a VST. The boring effect that a virtual instrument generates over time. YOU’LL HAVE A NEW ELECTRIC PIANO EVERY DAY. Every electric piano has a unique sound. Even if it’s the same model, same manufacturer and same year! This is why real pianos and electric pianos can never be emulated by software… until today! Reed106 introduces a proprietary Sampleson’s software that turns static vst instruments into living ones. INFINITE ROUND-ROBINS Sampled instruments use to add round-robins (Round-robin sampling is a method of sample playback which allows you to play different sampled versions of the same sound to avoid the “machine-gun” effect). Reed106’s spectral model is capable to create infinite natural variations for every note and velocity. Something is not possible with sampling methods. Daylight-based UI Product details
