The Grand Concert Builders Edition is suitable for fingerstyle as well as light strumming. The Builders Edition features Taylor V-Class bracing for increased volume, extended sustain and improved intonation. Rosewood back and sides give the guitar deep basses and brilliance in the trebles. The Lutz spruce top, together with the short scale length, provides the dynamics. The rounded contours, the armrest and the beveled cutaway allow for comfortable playability up to the highest registers. The satin finish also reduces noise that can be caused by friction on the body. The pickup is Taylor’s own active ES2 dynamic piezo system with bass, treble and volume controls.
