Flux Pro is a multi-fx modulation plugin that transforms your sounds into colorful, characterful and dynamic tracks.

Do you want to add graceful stereo waves to your keys, dirty pulsing side-chains to your bass, complex striking filters to your synths or noisy mechanical glitches to your drums? Modulation is king and we’re offering you the throne.

There are 3 customisable graphs which can perfectly sculpt your sound. Simply set the depth of the controls in the 4 effects slots, from which you can use a variety of 10 modulation effects. Are you in a hurry and need movement quickly? Easily drag 1 of the 48 built-in shapes onto the graph for fast and effective modulation.

Flux Pro has a range of effects from which you can use; Filter 1, Filter 2, Delay, Delay (Fixed), Width, Phaser, Chorus/Flanger, Rate Modulation, Ring Modulation and Utility.

Try shaping the Ring Modulation’s frequency and harmonic amount to add mechanical flavours to your bass. Or maybe create some ethereal vocal delays by programming audio reverses an octave up with Fixed Delay’s sample control. Then, apply a slow sine to the other Delay’s time and feedback controls to create more movement.

Perhaps a mix approach, is your piano getting masked by a synth? Setup Flux Pro on the piano track with a boosted high shelf filter, some gentle chorus and additional width. Then, set Flux Pro’s MIDI Input to the Synth, so that every time the synth plays the piano is given a little push to stand out in the mix.

Not good enough, want to get weird? Vary the formant filters’ cutoff and resonance as if your music is flowing through someone’s throat.

Why not set the Fixed Delay to repeat every other bar at an octave lower so you can moodily duet with yourself on those lonely nights. Lastly, have quick oscillations of Rate Modulation to add percussive texture to your audio, and more importantly, save yourself the humiliation of recording a shaker track.

Tape Pro is a multi-effect tape audio plugin that introduces warmth, frequency shaping, modulation, noise and delay. Whether you want to accurately replicate a microcassette tape running at 1.2cm/s, or you want to drive a mastering grade tape machine with strange distortion shapes into a high feedback delay engine, Tape Pro is the plugin for the job.

Tape Pro has a module for each sound feature of tape. The first of these in the signal chain is the Saturation module.

The variety of distortion types to choose from turn Tape Pro into a valuable creative tool – get the exact saturation sound you want with:

Next, the Response module uses a variety of different impulse responses recorded from real tape machines to recreate the authentic character to its sound.

Caelum Audio’s collection of responses from 12 different tape machines will have you covered; Cassette Type 1, Type 2 and Type 4, Worn, New and Mod Copi-Delay, Master SA812, Master TM15, Microcassette at 1.2cm/s and 2.4cm/s, Semi-Pro RB77 7.5ips and 15ips.

Noise is a huge part of the real tape sound and builds texture within any vibe you’re making. Tape Pro uses real sampled noise and can add anything from the rolling heads of a tape delay to the subtle hiss of a top of the range mastering tape machine. The noise types included are the same as listed above in the response module.

The wobbles and fluctuations of tape can be used to create wonderful modulations. Tape Pro’s Wow recreates the low-speed fluctuations of tape speed, while Flutter recreates the high-speed fluctuations. The rate of the wow can even be synchronised to your DAW – it can do things real tape machines can’t.

Part of the inspiration for creating Tape Pro came from a tape delay machine that sat in the Caelum Audio studio. Caelum Audio wanted the genuine tape delay sound anywhere they went, without having to transport, set up and wire in the hardware unit. Because of this, a huge amount of effort went into getting Tape Pro’s delay module right.

The hardware unit is no longer needed, it has been fully replaced by Tape Pro.

If you want your tracks to be energetic, in-your-face and bold, make ’em “Schlap”.

Schlap is a characterful, colourful and aggressive sounding program-dependent compressor. It takes inspiration from hardware RMS compressors of the past and evolves them into a modern setting.

The compressor uses a program-dependent attack and release influenced by old hardware making the compression sound characterful and dynamic.

The RMS detection means that Schlap detects the average loudness of a signal, resulting in sudden short peaks being uncompressed so that they can attack hard and sound heavy hitting. Also inherently in RMS detection, there is a slight delay in compression which allows the initial, early transients to sneak through uncompressed so they keep their punch.

You’ve got a safe, controlled track you think you’re happy with, but you have to ask yourself… “Does it Schlap?”

Smoov is a soft, clean and transparent sounding program-dependent compressor. It takes inspiration from hardware compressors of the past with a focus on peak detection, meaning that it can quickly and effortlessly react to incoming signals and blend them in with the surrounding audio field.

When a busy track needs taming, Smoov softly settles your tracks.

The compressor uses a program-dependent envelope influenced by old hardware making the compression sound smooth and dynamic. The peak detection means that Smoov detects the actual amplitude of a signal, resulting in an extremely fast response to tame and control anything that is thrown at it.
