DP-08

Introducing the Deputi Sounds DP-08 Kontakt instrument. This instrument was created by sampling a vintage 808 in the highest quality possible. The DP-08 gives you freedom to use the most legendary drum machine in music history like you’ve never experienced before!

We think you’ll be blown away by the unique and expressive ways this machine can generate fresh and unlimited new ideas by using the DISRUPT™ feature. When hitting Disrupt™, the DP-08’s parameters will shift and generate something completely new & musically fresh!

Disrupt

If you’re skeptical about randomization, we totally get it! Unlike other randomization features haphazardly added to music gear in times past, we programed DISRUPT™ to stay within a musically contextual and useful range- (no more unusable and non-musical results!) With Disrupt™, your sound sources, pitches, envelopes, FX sends, FX presets & parameters all morph into a new soundscape… yielding sound design discoveries that would have historically taken hours to create! As always, your pattern, volume level settings, and master controls will stay where you set them, ensuring you never lose the groove!

Sequencer

The DP08 has a 32 step sequencer that allows you to input note, velocity and pitch information per step. The sequencer defaults at 16 steps but can be switched to 32. It also includes controls for latch, clear, number of bars, grid type as well as copy & paste functions.

Parameters

The master section allows for parameter changes of the sound selection, level, tuning and envelope for each drum sound. All of these parameters can be controlled by host automation, or disrupt buttons.

FX Section

The extensive effects section has over 60 high quality reverb impulse responses as well as 5 delay modeling engines. Each drum sound has it’s own reverb and delay send knob.
