The DiMarzio Tone Zone with F (Floyd Rose vibrato) spacing is a truly loud humbucker that can even teach lazy amps to sing and roar. The Fred DiMarzio is basically a PAF humbucker, however, this one puts it up a notch. Significantly tighter in the central region as well as the overtones, it asserts itself excellently and fits perfectly into the modern soundscape. In addition, the Fred naturally responds very sensitively to the attack of the guitarist, dynamic play is accentuated. The Fred began his career as a prototype for Joe Satriani, probably not a bad witness for modern lead sounds!
