Spatial: The fully integrated 3D engine allows you to create unbelievable sounds. Spatial Sequencer: Imagine a Sequencer where you can pan each step note in 3D space… 3D arpeggios for everyone. Spatial Envelope Generators: A note that starts at the back, attacks to the center, sustains in the right, and releases to the ceiling. All by using a EG with 3D render. Spatial LFO: Notes moving everywhere, with azimuth and elevation controlled by LFOs. Independent Oscillators: Each oscillator may have their own spatial settings, with independant starting positions and movements, for fantastic 3D sounds. Movement Modifiers: Use movement modifiers, to obtain interesting movements in a fast way, from crazy rotations to smooth movements. Divergence: Do you want all notes to start in the same spot, or should the synth create slight position variations between notes? Dolby Atmos: SkyDust is able to output audio in multiple multichannel formats, from 5.1 to 9.1.6, perfect for your Dolby Atmos music. Binaural: No immersive studio? Don’t worry, use the synth with 3D sound over Headphones, using Sound Particles’ Binaural engine. Ambisonics: Do you use Ambisonics? Great, because SkyDust supports up to 6th order Ambisonics. Special Panner: The Sound Particles team created a special 3D panner, that merges the advantages of sphere-based panners and cube-based panners. 3D Views: Multiple 3D views, for you to see what is happening in terms of space: 360º view, top view, rear view, sphere view, and more… SOFA: Use the built-in HRTF datasets, or your custom SOFA file (with your HRTF profile), and you will have a great 3D experience with headphones. Oscillators: Multiple oscillators and wave modifiers, to obtain fantastic sounds. 8 Oscillators: With 8 oscillators per voice, SkyDust will allow you to create rich and fantastic sounds, using subtractive, FM or hybrid approaches. Polyphonic Synth: With up to 256 voices, the synth is able to play an huge number of notes. And if you need to past the limit, the synth will handle it gracefully. Anti-Alias: With anti-alias technology, the synth will prevent the ugly artifacts typical of some digital synthesizers. Waveforms & Noises: From traditional waves to crazy noises, pick the right waveform for your oscillators. Waveform Modifiers: Use one of the multiple modifiers to create unique waveform sounds. Or link them with an LFO for even more interesting results. Multiple EGs: Do you like ADSR’s for everything, or do you prefer more complicated ones (e.g., DAHDSR)? Arpeggiator: A modern approach to the Arpeggiator and Sequencer. Arpeggiator + Sequencer: The Arpeggiator and the Sequencer will allow you to create fantastic note sequences for your new music piece. Step Keyboards: With a keyboard for each step of the sequencer, for you to stop thinking about semitones, and simply create fantastic music. Polyphonic Sequencer: Yes, old synthesizers only had monophonic sequencers, but with a polyphonic sequencer the results can be even more interesting. Parameter Sequences: Add parameters to the sequencer to create even richer sequences, changing their values through time. Arpeggiator Modes: Pick one of the 7 arpeggiator modes, add extra octaves, and get great results. Major / Minor chords: Wouldn’t be nice for the sequencer to adapt to major/minor chords? Force a scale for the sequence to know when to play which. Frequency Modulation: Add modern FM synthesis and create amazing sounds. FM Operators: Do you prefer subtractive, FM, or hybrid? Use the 8 oscilators as 8 FM operators, and add filters on top for hybrid results. FM Matrix: Create custom connections between operators with the FM matrix – the sky is the limit! Operator View: Check the connections between operators on the operator’s view, to make sure you are doing the right FM routing. Filters: Subtractive synthesis, with independent filters, to obtain wonderful results. Filters: If you like subtractive synthesis, use filters (with EGs and LFOs) to obtain the sound you are looking for. Oscillator Filters: Each oscillator may have their own filter, controlled by their own EG and LFO, allowing you to create even better sounds. Keyboard + Velocity Mapping: Do you want your filters to adapt to the keyboard notes and their velocity? No problem. Pitch: Use new pitch effects, to create unique sounds. Pitch EG + LFO: From smooth vibratos to crazy pitch variations, each oscillator may have their own EG and LFOs. Pitch Convergence: Use random pitch values on the Pitch EG to obtain amazing pitch convergence results (and in 3D). Random Behaviors: Pick one of the available random pitch behaviors, to obtain very interesting results, from horror to enlightment. Effects / Mix: A Mixer and audio effects that helps you to shape the sound Mixer: The mixer will be your friend: from Solo to focus on a single oscillator, to volumes to shape your sound, or simply to check levels. Matrix: The maximum flexibility for the ultimate power – anything is possible. Matrix: Use the Matrix to use any parameter to control any parameter. Pitch-bend for elevation? LFO for resonance? Anything is possible. Filter by (source/destination): A matrix list can grow fast. Use “Filter by” to show entries by either the source (MIDI, LFO, EG) or destination (Spatial, Pitch, FM, etc.) Curve Editor: Use the curve editor, to obtain even more control over the parameters – sometimes, the best results require fine tuning. Extras: Envelope Generators and LFO’s are never too many. Extra EG’s: 8 extra envelope generators, to use with additional parameters of the synth. Maybe a single EG to rule them all. Extra LFO’s: Additional 8 LFO’s, for you to play with more parameters. Maybe you want to add some extra noise LFO on top of a regular vibrato. Brightness PannerBrightness Panner is committed to changing the way you use sound in space, enriching your mixes by spreading sound around you. This unique audio plugin makes panning easier than ever, by applying movement to your sounds using Brightness analysis. Frequency Controls Panning Imagine panning being controlled by the pitch of music notes, the brightness of sounds or the MIDI notes you play. From music to audio post, Brightness Panner allows you to move sounds dynamically in a variety of reproduction formats — from stereo to surround 5.1 and 7.1, to Dolby Atmos 7.1.2, Ambisonics up to 3rd order, and Binaural. Panning Mode The Pan mode is essentially a normal end-to-end particle-based panning. This type of panning effect changes the position of the sound source between two points (start point -> end point) previously defined by you. Therefore, greater brightness or pitch shifts of the incoming signal, the greater the shift from the starting point to the end point. Sliding Mode Whenever the audio signal is within the frequency or pitch range, the sound source moves on a trajectory that you define. As opposed to pan mode, the sound source does not return to the starting point as soon as the signal falls outside that range. The sound source will freeze that position until the audio signal is back within the range again, leading to a new shift of the sound source in the dome space. MAIN FEATURES
