100 LOOPS – Collected bits and bobs from my adventures down the Eurorack Rabbit Hole!

These loops were all made with Eurorack modules. This pack is not like most of my other packs where all the samples go together.

This one is more a robust, random assortment of ideas, fragments and explorations. These loops are meant to give you inspiration and be mixed with your own sounds and samples.

Those of you who know me from my YouTube channel will know that I’m more into making “actual music” with Eurorack, not robot farts and car alarms.

“Eurorack Rabbit Hole loops” will certainly add a new character to your productions. IMHO, it’s a pretty different vibe than sounds made from virtual instruments and computer DAWs and can bring a nice depth to your tracks.

The demo is a bit dub techno sounding, but the loops in this pack range way outside that vibe – there is something for everyone here.

Post processing was done in Ableton. Tempos range from 80 to 150 bpm. ALL Samples are labeled with tempo and key information.

There is some audio degradation when playing far from the route key which is always middle C. Sound are recorded at 125 bpm. ‘Playable Instruments and Pads’ are tuned sounds that can be played on a keyboard. Although this pack is not designed to be a musical instrument, these sounds can be played melodically.

The kontakt version of Cinematic Textures and Drones also contains ‘Multi’ patches which are made up of 2 or more individual patches to create new sounds, and ‘Grouped’ patches which have all sounds from each category mapped in a single Kontakt Instrument. This is useful for auditioning sounds quickly across the keyboard and also for layering sounds in the same category.

Modulation
All patches have Mod Wheel assigned to Amp Release and Reverb to extend the release time of the sounds. After touch is assigned to a High Pass Filter and Distortion to give a create effect which adds real grunge to the sounds.

ever wonder what music will sound like… after the apocalypse?

we hopped in a time machine, went just past the nuclear holocaust, and turned on the radio; hoping to hear some top 40 hits.

we found broken drum machines, leftover radio transmissions, crippled cyborgs, and weird, nuclear synthesizers. we even got recordings of the landscape… metallic caves, leftover bombs, murky biomes, and radioactive wind.

we made it back to the present with over 400 samples. arpeggios, basses, fx, glitches, leads, radio signals, and loads of drums.
