The Serpent for Massive focuses on dark, suggestive, industrial, cinematic soundscapes and pads with an infinite amount of layers were every sound is a world on it’s own. The library also contains bass, bells, sequenced sounds, fx sounds, beautiful angelic pads and leads to a smaller extent for completeness.

Thou Serpent Continuum is a remodeled and nurtured version of The Serpent where each oscillator and signal path has been soloed and carefully brought into completely new sounds.
The outcome is a parallel universe with a completely new structure and behavior that is linked by sharing a vision and one or several settings.

Having years of synth experience I really tried to take it up a notch to provide patches that are not out there yet. And Zebra is the perfect synth to do so.
All 50 patches have the most useful parameters assigned to the X&Y Pads, which means that each patch contains a huge amount of additional sounds that you can modulate.

This way you can use the sounds straight away in your production, but they are also great for learning.

The “Multi Layered” sounds are made up of various musical and non-musical elements which are separated into component parts. You can use these sounds as they are or take parts of some and mix with others. These sounds are “time stretched” to remain in sync. There is some audio degradation when playing far from the route key which is always middle C. Sound are recorded at 125 bpm. ‘Playable Instruments and Pads’ are tuned sounds that can be played on a keyboard. Although this pack is not designed to be a musical instrument, these sounds can be played melodically.

The kontakt version of Cinematic Textures and Drones also contains ‘Multi’ patches which are made up of 2 or more individual patches to create new sounds, and ‘Grouped’ patches which have all sounds from each category mapped in a single Kontakt Instrument. This is useful for auditioning sounds quickly across the keyboard and also for layering sounds in the same category.

Modulation
All patches have Mod Wheel assigned to Amp Release and Reverb to extend the release time of the sounds. After touch is assigned to a High Pass Filter and Distortion to give a create effect which adds real grunge to the sounds.

Canto Con Brio Electric consists of tempo-synced sounds, from simple rhythmic building blocks to sequenced pads, to the more unconventional iterations of sound, all inspired by my own history of preference and also from some of todays contemporary electronic composers.
Call it minimal, experimental and Leap Into The Void.

With the very powerful modulation and coloring possibilities of the oscillators, Bazille also delivers leads, keys, plucks, pads and bass sounds included as well that I’d like to describe as ”colors of vigour”, from edgy to warm, with great expressiveness, inspiring to both play and to use when composing.
A collection that could best be categorized as atmospheres and textures completes the Canto Con Brio Electric.

Canto is the word for a principal form of division in a long poem, especially the epic. The word comes from Italian, meaning ”song” or singing. Bazille does imho some truly great singing.
Brio is the musical term for vigour and Con brio means ”with spirit” or ”with vigour”.
Combined this could be translated to ”Electric poems with spirit” which is what I’d like to use to describe the idea and essence of this soundset.

Luftrum 19 is a collection of patches for Repro-5 and a sonic collab between Stephan Baer and Luftrum, containing 128 delicate patches from the sound lab.

The soundset is on one side inspired by ambient cinematic filmscores such as Interstellar, Gravity, Blade Runner and 400 Days by modern composer Wojciech Golczewski and on the other side taking its inspiration from retro analog and digital synth gear and the albums that arouse and came to life from those synths in the early to mid 80’s with albums by Vince Clarke, Tangerine Dream, Enya and Vangelis.

The result is a crossbreed of cinematic, underscoring atmospheres to classic synth emulations, shimmery pads, distinctive basses, potent analog leads and corroded yet fragile synth keys.

Widely useful in many genres whether you produce cinematic music, ambient, synthwave or EDM.

All patches are tagged, assigned performance controls and leaving a few dB headroom at max velocity and polyphony and includes a separate set of NKS ready patches that connect seamlessly to NI’s Komplete Kontrol and Machine hardware but without audio previews.
