Like all daCarbo trumpets, the "Toni Maier" has a very easy response. The exceptionally large bell makes for a huge sound projection and this even in the upper registers. The sound is also reflected back to the trumpeter himself, which further increases the control. The blowing resistance is so low that the ML bore feels like an L-bore. The sound of this instrument is both warm, and brilliant leaving nothing to be desired.

Due to the special shape of the tuning bow and the bell, interfering reflections are reduced. This enables excellent response and intonation throughout the sound field. This trumpet is easy and effortless to play, even in the high registers and very well suited for orchestra musicians as well as soloists.
