This alto recorder is named after the recorder maker Thomas Stanesby Sr. (1668-1734) and is based on an original model from the collection of Frans Brüggen, Amsterdam. The model’s remarkably warm and full tone is especially impressive, making it a very effective and expressive solo instrument owing to its beautiful sound, easy response and reliability.
