Samplestar is very proud to present Syntastic 80s Synth Jamz! 1980 to 1989 – The decade most often associated with nostalgia, especially when it comes to some of our favourite synth anthems here at Samplestar HQ.

Rather than focusing on modern interpretations like Synthwave, we set out to make a truly authentic 80’s inspired pack, celebrating some of the biggest producers and production powerhouses of the decade. Legends like – Trevor Horn, Quincy Jones, Prince, Mike Stock, Matt Aitken, and Pete Waterman to name but a few.

We dusted down some of our favourite classics from the Samplestar synth collection, including era-defining big polys like the Roland Jupiter 6, Oberheim Xpander, and Korg PolySix alongside some lesser-known classics like the Crumar Bit01, Akai AX80 & the Siel Cruise to give a truly authentic feel to the library.

With the current 80’s music resurgence now more popular than ever, savvy producers will find these 80’s inspired melody-driven production kits will also work flawlessly in many other genres like Pop, Nu Disco, Hip Hop, and many more
