The Grand Auditorium is Taylor’s most versatile body shape and is equally suitable for a wide range of playing techniques. The 814e also features Taylor’s V-Class bracing, which results in a higher volume, longer sustain and improved intonation. The 3.5 mil thin finish ensures optimised vibration behaviour. The guitar’s rosewood back and sides ensure its powerful bass and brilliance in the treble with a slight emphasis on the upper-mids. Taylor’s own active ES2 dynamic piezo system with bass, middle and treble controls is used as the pickup.
