Smoke II is the sequel to our very popular first drum kit, Smoke. The concept behind this library is to give you the biggest sounding drums, period. We went a step further this time and created 4 concept kits with very different flavors, but with the same smack you have grown accustomed to.

The main interface is the same as Smoke. 4 main controls plus the great SSL EQ, all tweaked to respond in the best fashion to the Smoke II samples. In addition to this, you now have a kit menu so no need to load up several instances of Kontakt to browse the sounds!

This time around, you will be able to tweak the sample and create never before heard sounds with our brand-new 8 effects panel: transient shaper, saturation, distortion, lo-fi, stereo panner, delay, flanger and a second reverb! Each of the 4 kits are divided into 4 sample categories: kicks, dry snares, wet snares and percussion & hihat loops. These sample groups are clearly marked by blue keys on the Kontakt interface.

The idea behind Trap For Serum was to create a preset pack providing sounds used in the current hip-hop charts. So I set out to work, analyzed dozens of beats and recreated patch after patch.
