CHOIR – Vocal Multiplier

Turn a single voice into up to 32 individual unison voices.

CHOIR​​ is a unique vocal processor that turns a single monophonic voice into a lush choir of 4, 8, 16, or 32 distinct individual unison voices, each with its own pitch, timing and vibrato variations.

CHOIR accomplishes its magic with just a few simple controls. Choir​ ​Size​ allows you to select the number of individual voices that will be generated from the original voice. The Vibrato Variation​, Pitch​ ​Variation​, and Timing​ ​Variation​ controls allow you to control the amount of subtle variation applied to each of the generated voices. Place Auto-Key on a track to analyze your music in real time, or upload an audio file for faster than real-time analysis. It then automatically detects and displays the key and scale of your music, as well as the tuning reference frequency. The onscreen keyboard also lights up to show detected pitches.

Click the “Send to Auto-Tune” button, and compatible versions of Anatare’s Auto-Tune are automatically updated with the correct key and scale settings.

Even if you already know the key and scale of your music, Auto-Key will streamline your workflow by allowing you to conveniently set the key and scale for multiple instances of Auto-Tune with a single click.

Key and Scale Detection

Auto-Key makes it quick and easy to find the key and scale of your music. Just place it on an instrument track or master bus and begin playback.

Auto-Key will analyze the audio in real time and display the key and scale after a few seconds of playback analysis. You can also upload an audio file to analyze an entire song in seconds.

In addition to key and scale, Auto-Key also tells you the reference frequency of your music. Most modern music is tuned so that A is equal to 440 Hz, but this is not always the case. If your music or samples are tuned to a different reference frequency, Auto-Key will show you what it is, so you can make the necessary adjustments when applying pitch correction or selecting samples.

A physical talk box works by applying a filter (the human mouth) to an audio signal (usually a guitar or synth).

Articulator models this process by extracting the formant and amplitude information from a vocal track and applying it to another audio track or to its built-in noise generator in real time.

Mic Mod includes precise digital models of over 100 legendary microphones. Just tell it what mic you’re using and what mic you want it to sound like.

Mic Mod not only reproduces all of the subtle sonic characteristics that make each microphone unique, it also gives you control of each mic’s specific options. Does the mic have a low cut filter? If so, it’s in the model. Close or far placement? Just dial in the proximity control. Each option results in the same sonic effect that it would have with the actual mic. For that final touch of perfection, you can even add some tube saturation.

Mic Mod gives you a huge virtual microphone collection that you can use for recording, mixing, and even in live performance to get the sound of mics you would never consider using on stage. It’s also a great tool for broadcast and podcasting applications.

Proximity

• Proximity Effect is a bass boost that results from placing a directional mic in close proximity to a signal source (e.g., a singer’s lips). With Mic Mod EFX’s Proximity controls, you can actually create the effects of different mic distances based on the specific physical properties of each individual modeled mic.

Low Cut Filter

• If your source mic has a low cut filter, enter its setting in the Source Mic Low Cut menu. If your selected modeled mic has a low cut filter, you can model the effects of any of its settings with the Modeled Mic Low Cut menu.

Pickup Pattern

• If your source mic has variable pickup patterns, enter the selected pattern in the Source Mic Pattern menu. If your selected modeled mic has variable pickup patterns, you can experiment with the effects of any of its patterns with the Modeled Mic Pattern menu.

Tube Saturation

With high quality pitch shifting, throat modeling, ring modulator-based mutation, and a mind-bending tempo-synced alienize function, Mutator is the perfect tool for unique vocal effects, character design, and post-production sound design.

Mutators’s voice processing tools are divided into three sections.

The voice design section lets you use our unique throat modeling and pitch shifting technologies to craft the basic characteristics of your voice.

The mutate section lets you transform and mangle that voice into a variety of strange creatures, with 24 different varieties of “mutation” created with pitch-tracking ring modulation.

Finally, the alienize section gives your vocal track the quality of an alien language by chopping it up into small segments and playing each segment in reverse.

Sybil is designed to tame excessive vocal sibilance (ess, tsss, ch, and sh sounds), with a flexible compressor and a variable-frequency high pass filter to ensure optimum de-essing for any vocal performance.

The compressor section includes threshold, ratio, attack and release controls, and the high-pass frequency control lets you adjust which high frequency content will get compressed, to ensure that the sibilance is reduced while the rest of the voice remains pristine.

Model the sound of vintage analog tube saturation

WARM

Nothing warms up a vocal track (or pretty much any track) like being recorded through a high quality analog tube preamp. And thanks to Warm, you can add this tube warmth to every track in your mix.

Warm offers the choice of two different tube models.

Velvet tube gives you the subtle effects of classic tube saturation. While most often used for adding warmth to vocals, it sounds just as good on acoustic guitar, horns, strings, synth pads, or pretty much anything.

Crunch tube gives you the deep, warm distortion of an overdriven tube amplifier. You can crank it up for an “industrial” vocal sound, or as an effect on guitar, bass, or synths.

Warm’s unique Omni Tube feature lets you apply tube saturation to the entire signal, instead of just the transients, as is typically the case with a tube preamp.

And since Warm is extremely DSP efficient, you can use it on an almost unlimited number of tracks simultaneously.
