Objeq Delay

Beyond Traditions

Objeq Delay is a creative effect plug-in combining acoustic filtering with a clever delay unit. The plate, beam, drumhead, and string objects impart evocative acoustic resonances to the input signal. Further shaping is also available via low- and high-cut filters. The in-series delay acts as a classic unit or can split the first and subsequent repeats to either remodel the attack or create complex rhythmic patterns. An LFO module completes the package with comprehensive modulation destinations to the filter, resonator, and delay parameters.

“Objeq delay is a truly creative and fun effect with multifaceted applications, ” said Eric Thibeault, the product’s designer, “Objeq Delay is obviously a great delay unit, but the complete feature set takes it to another level. The acoustic resonator is a great percussion track enhancer—it’s fantastic on kicks and snares. The split between the first and subsequent echoes can mangle simple loops into new complex rhythms. The LFO allows various modulator-type effects such as flanger and chorus. And then when you bring it all together, a highly resonant object with the delay brings you into the drones territory.”

Objeq Delay is a creative delay unit with unique filtering options thanks to our acoustic object models. Going beyond traditional delay duties, Objeq Delay delivers modulator type effects, drum track layering, one-shot re-crafting, dynamic loop mangling, and drones…

Echoes – 35 Presets

Objeq Delay kits out an extensive Delay module. Whether it’s for psychoacoustic effects, slap, rhythmic, or super lush space-out echoes, with modulation and feedback filters, Objeq Delay covers the whole gamut of delay possibilities.

Modulators – 44 Presets

Objeq Delay boasts a comprehensive LFO with a full list of modulation destinations that allows the creation of chorus, flanger, vibrato, tremolo, and auto-filter modulation effects.

Rhythmic Loop Mangers – 36 Presets

Objeq Delay really augments the life of rhythmic loops. While the resonator is made as a new pulsing element, the delay module, with its independent first and subsequent repeats, answers the source’s original invitation—working together to create complex and intricate new beats.

Kick Track Enhancers – 25 Presets

Objeq Delay’s resonators can transform kick tracks in many interesting ways—add boom decays or snap attacks in skin, plastic, wood, or metal flavours.

Snare Track Enhancers – 20 Presets

Like kicks, snare tracks are prime candidates for Objeq Delay’s resonators. The objects layer in weight, body, an acoustic ring, or a snappier attack showing no prejudice whether your source material is acoustic or electronic.

Dornes – 24 Presets

With high resonance and modulation, Objeq Delay’s resonator forms ever evolving drones that reacts to the source material in a related but often unrecognizable fashion.

Richard Devine Signature – 42 Presets

Expert sound designer Richard Devine bring his touch to Objeq Delay with a comprehensive set of presets that explore the extremes of the effect with all kinds of new and interesting sonic transformations.

Martin Walker Signature – 40 Presets

Sound designer and steampunk audio inventor Martin Walker pushes the boundaries of Objeq Delay, discovering fresh and exciting possibilities while retaining loads of musicality.

Lounge Lizard EP-4

Authentic Tone, Action and Feel.

The Lounge Lizard EP-4 plug-in delivers authentic vintage electric piano sounds in an everything-you-need package.

In the Studio

When time matters, simply pick from more than 100 custom electric piano presets. But when sound exploration is on the program, players will dig the real-time controls over hammer hardness, tine colour and decay, damper noise, and pickup placement for an unsurpassed level of customization.

Live on Stage

Gigging musicians will appreciate Lounge Lizard’s small memory footprint, instant preset recalls, and stability. Furthermore, the huge library of classic electric piano sounds as well as the complete selection of effects makes it easy to build a set list and get the perfect tone for each song.

Alive Beneath Your Fingers

There is something quite immersive when a connection develops between the player and the instrument. Whether it’s the perfectly smooth velocity progression or the interactive reaction to your performance, Lounge Lizard makes that connection happen.

Beyond the Electric Piano

Lounge Lizard achieves convincing electric piano tones with less than twenty synth parameters. That’s a quite a feat by itself, but pushed further, these parameters reveal a realm of other tones. Organs, bells, chimes, leads are all featured in the preset library’s Experimental folder.

Custom Tones

Even though famous players shared the same brand and models, they were all achieving their own signature sound. Nevertheless, that usually meant spending many hours under the hood with screwdrivers, wrenches, or even a solder iron. What’s fun with Lounge Lizard is that whether you’re looking to emulate a particular sound or simply find your own, all those tweaks are just a few knob turns away!

  • NEW Factory Library – The completely renewed factory library features the classic electric piano sounds as well as over 200 gig- and mix-ready custom electric pianos making good use of the compressor, equalizer, and multi-effect processor.
  • NEW Compressor and Equalizer – These new additions are perfect to add punch and definition to your sound, letting you cut through any dense mix or stage.
  • NEW Character Control – The new Character control provides five classic studio and stage signal path emulations – that’s the cabinet, pre-amp, microphone, and recorder chain that follows the piano’s output – to easily snug fit your electric piano part into your track.
  • NEW Limiter – The new output limiter protects your ears and monitors during experimentation with the piano’s physical modelling parameters while providing a maximum of distortion-free dynamics.
  • NEW Streamlined Interface – Redesigned from the ground up, the new interface now divides Lounge Lizard EP-4 into three panels: Play presents shortcuts to the main piano and effect parameters including bypass switches for quick edits; Edit lets you get under the hood and voice the piano to taste; while FX supplies equalizer, compressor, multi-effect, and reverb processors for final shaping duties.
  • NEW Bank and Program Manager – Lounge Lizard EP-4’s new manager allows for simple and efficient organization, backup, and sharing of your sounds.
  • UPDATED Overhauled Effects – Reinvigorated, polished, and tuned especially for the electric piano, Lounge Lizard EP-4’s multi-effect processor features our best sounding chorus, delay, phaser, flanger, distortion, notch filter, wah-wah, auto-wah, and reverb to date!
  • NEW Native 64-bit Audio Unit (AU) and VST Plug-ins – Lounge Lizard EP-4 now runs in native 64-bit on Mac OS X and Windows making it compatible with the latest sequencers.

Playing Guitar on a Keyboard has Never Been Easier

Creating a realistic guitar track from samples is a tough job. Guitar players voice chords differently, strumming is not easily reproduced on a keyboard, and guitar players use all sort of techniques such as palm muting, scratching and sliding simply not available on a keyboard. Strum GS-2 now does all of this for you!

  • Strum with MIDI Loops – Use the vast collection of recorded strumming patterns over the chords you play and find inspiration for your track. Drag and drop the loop to your host sequencer and make it perfect for your song.
  • The Right Voicings for the Chords You Know – Strum GS-2 chord library contains basic and extended chords available in open, movable, or drop voicings. Play the chords you know and Strum voices them automatically as a guitarist would.
  • Strum on Your Keyboard – Trigger down and upstrokes, scratches and mutes, or create picking patterns using the arpeggio keys.
  • Articulation and Expression – Slide and bend with the pitch wheel or aftertouch. Add vibrato with the modulation wheel. Natural hammer-ons and pull-offs when playing leads.

Guitar Craftmanship

Have you ever had the chance to create your own guitar? Strum GS-2 allows you to do just that by controlling every aspect in the making of your instrument.

  • Picks and Fingers – Hand picking or playing a heavy riff? Use a pick that is rounded or sharp, stiff or soft. Dig into the strings or use a light touch, play near the bridge or towards the neck for an evolving tone.
  • String by String – Select material and natural decay for each string. Precise control of coupling and interactions at the bridge breath life into your tone with beating and organic envelopes.
  • Pickups – Whether they are single coils or humbuckers, pickups are a fundamental part of the electric guitar sound. They shape the whole instrument’s response and their multiple configurations give tremendous tone flexibility.
  • Body Shopping – The soundboard of a guitar radiates vibrations from the strings. Choose a body size to colour the sound with specific resonances and find the right character.
  • Mutes and Scratches – As on a real guitar, strings interact with the player’s hands and frets. Fine tune your rhythm parts and riffs with palm muting, scratches, and hammer-ons.

Bare Naked – All Suited Up

You’ll love the pure raw sound of Strum GS-2, but the built-in effects will bring it to so many places that you’ll enjoy having them on hand. And you have a chock-full of them to choose from: compressor, equalizer, delay, distortion, phaser, chorus, flanger, wah-wah and notch filters, and reverb.

The community has good things to say about Strum…

Jan Peter Eerenberg (Interface) – “Top techniques”

  • AAS has succeeded in making a good acoustic guitar simulation. The diversity of the various attack techniques is simply top. And with the soon to be release electric version, this is quite exciting.’

Nick Magnus (Sound On Sound) – “Remarkably Realistic”

Two-Voice Multitimbral

Chromaphone 3 combines two independent timbres—stacked or split—to create performance-friendly, texture-full, and spacious sounds that are sure to make a good impression.

Browser

With Packs, Sounds, Categories, and Creators views, Chromaphone 3’s brand-new browser offers an efficient way to home in on the sounds you’re looking for.

Resonators

Chromaphone 3 proudly showcases eight physically modelled acoustic resonators. Mix and match strings, plates, drumheads, membranes, beams, bars, and tubes to reproduce real-life instruments or create original ones. At the turn of a few knobs, become an instrument maker, shaping metal, carving wood, and stretching skins.

Chromaphone is the first synthesizer to take into account the effect of coupling between resonators. A proprietary technology precisely models the bidirectional nature of the energy flow between the resonators and how they interact thereby capturing key acoustic behaviours of musical instruments.

Macros

Chromaphone 3 now boasts four performance macros per layer that respond to user-defined MIDI controls. Each and every sound features modulation, timbre, envelope, and effect morphing assignments that can be played in real-time for enhanced expressivity and sonic dimension.

Factory Library

Chromaphone 3 ships with a completely new factory library of 420 sounds created by top sound designers. Michel Basque, Christian Halten, Jerry Kovarsky, Christian Laffitte, Niall McCallum, Adam Pietruszko, Daniel Stawczyk, Sean Divine, and Venus Theory form an incredible team that made the most of the latest Chromaphone 3 features. It’s with great pride that AAS present these new signature sounds.

REMASTERED Chromaphone 2 Library

A long and fastidious process of fine-tuning went down in the AAS quarters. Each and every sound of the legacy Chromaphone 2 library went under the eyes of the AAS team members.

They now boast a consistent gain-stage, unity-gain effects, better dynamics, and compelling real-time sound transformation assignments to take advantage of the new features of Chromaphone 3. That’s an extra 676 solid sounds in your hands.

IMPROVED Microtonal tunings via Scala scale files
Chromaphone 3 now supports the Scala scale file format as well as reference note frequency tuning for microtonal music-making.

EXPANDED Multi-Effects Module
Chromaphone 3’s multi-effects module now sports reverb, equalizer, compressor, tremolo, and guitar amplifier processors for even more completeness. Furthermore, the five effect slots can be re-arranged in any order.
