What to do with Panagement 2?

• Position a source in the binaural field in one click
• Make it seem like the source is becoming distant, or coming close

There is a learning curve, because Panagement holds a lot of power.

Once mastered, Panagement reveals itself as a quick and immediate mixing tool for all kinds of spatialization duties.

What’s this? 

Panagement is a spatialization powerhouse that lets you control the stereo space quickly, with numerous carefully designed features:

• The Binaural Panner positions a track from left to right in the sound stage,
• The Distance Fader brings that track near or far,
• The Mono-to-Stereo enlarges a thin track or simulates early reflections,
• The Tilt Filter adjusts spectral balance between lows and highs,
• The Phasescope control displays mono compatibility visually,
• Finally, a LFO allows to create periodic or even random moves.

Philosophy

Panagement is about practicality. Techniques that would be more realistic but have sound quality drawbacks, like sampled HRTF, were not included. We use simple HRTF models instead.

Do no harm

We care a lot about your signal and how to preserve it. Refined tuning has been given multiple times to ensure the cleanest sound quality.

Graillon is a Vocal Live Changer that brings a world of possibilities right into your DAW, with carefully designed features. The Pitch-Tracking Modulation, unique to Graillon, changes the type of speakers, generates throat sounds, creates choruses, make octaver sounds, enriches a voice to make it more masculine. The Pitch Shifter cleanly transpose a voice up and down, and has been optimized for voice. The Pitch Correction module brings an immediate robotic sound, while the Bitcrusher addition softly add sparkles to the mix.

WHATS THIS?

RENEGATE is simply just a full-band Gate plug-in.

It has an always smooth, natural sound, and is quick to operate.

RENEGATE radically simplifies gating. But surface-level simplicity is only possible because it’s complicated on the inside:

• Program-dependent hysteresis automatically captures the desired phenomenon.
• Builtin Look-Ahead lets you hit the transient 100% of the time.
• Program-Dependent Auto-Release
• Expensive 43 bands psychoacoustic auditory model for State-of-the-Art envelope detection.

RENEGATE also features:

• Alternative ways to apply Gain Reduction, namely with a 1-pole lowpass or highpass

Couture gives you control over your dynamics, and particularly attacks.

Raw Efficiency. Increase or decrease dynamics. Get a usable result, now.

Fully Volume-independent. Keep the freedom to change input gain when needed. Including the Saturation stage.

Laser-sharp. Couture’s 2-bands, half-spectral, RMS, program-dependent detector finds each and every transient. No internal thresholds.

Couture is very versatile:

• Make individual drum tracks a lot more dynamic and punchy
• Remove the “click” out of a kick drum sample
• Make a whole bus more or less dynamic in a single click
• Give glue to a mix with light compression and saturation.
• Use a subtle saturation that preserve dynamics.
• Deess the very start of notes for vocals.
• Give life to inane lead synths.

Combined dynamics and saturation

There is often some overlap in usage cases between saturation and dynamics. Both can be used to control peaks. Some transients prefer saturation, others prefer dynamics.

Couture comes with both Transient and Saturation sections to make related decisions at the same time. For example for a drum track you can increase dynamics and smash it later with distortion.

Full volume-independence

Transient Shaping is traditionally volume-independent. We extended the Saturation stage to be volume-independent, too

When using Couture you keep the freedom to change input gain afterwards. This avoids some gain-staging dependencies in your signal chain, that may backfire later in the mixing stage.

Compression versus Transient Shaping?

Our vision is that transient control could perhaps be something satisfying.;

In general terms, a compressor is somewhat longer to tune and its parameters change volume: attack, release, ratio, threshold… they change output gain while you tune them.

Essentially, the Transient section of Couture has only 3 parameters and they have semantic meaning:

• Sharpen: add or remove dynamics in one click, how “sharp” the signal is
• Speed: time scale of captured transients
• Front vs Back of the captured note.

When turned to Front, the Sharpen knob acts like the Attack knob on a regular Transient Shaper. When turned to Front, the Sharpen knob acts more like the Sustain knob on a regular Transient Shaper.

To improve predictability, we made Couture’s behavior 100% program-dependent. Couture catches transients very accurately by design.
