If you can play as fast as Al Di Meola, you need a pickup that can handle it at all and convey nuances in the playing even at the highest speed. The DP107 with Floyd Rose-Vibrato Spacing features a continuous coil that provides solid bass components and a 6-pole coil that translates the treble significantly. This results in a clearly defined, open sound, despite the high output. A loud humbucker without the distortion type narrowed centre sound.
