Undulator

A Classic Modulated Tremolo

Undulator is Eventide’s classic modulated tremolo effect from the iconic H3000 effects processor. This unique, rhythmic effect combines ethereal feedback and detuned echos, run through an AM / FM modulated tremolo. Whether used for manipulating samples or adding movement to strings, pads, guitars, and keys, Undulator is a muse for creative musicians. Add Undulator into your plug-ins collection for the most playable tremolo-style effect on your DAW or iOS device.

Features

  • Turn up the MIX to increase the dry/effect ratio
  • Utilize multiple modulation waveform shapes and sources to alter the rhythmic feel
  • Subtly finesse detuning of delays by using SPREAD
  • Add FEEDBACK to accentuate delays or create infinite loops
  • The Secondary LFO determines how fast the depth and speed modulation “wiggle” their targets
  • Lock the tremolo to tempo using SYNC
  • RETRIG at the top of the wavform for a more predictable effect
  • RIBBON lets you ‘play’ the effect in real-time and provides dynamic and fluid control to morph back and forth between the settings of your choice
  • SLOW/FAST button toggles on a “Slow LFO” mode. Holding it down to “BRAKE” temporarily slows down the LFOs at a constant rate until released
  • Update the tremolo speed in real time using the TAP button
  • Use MIDI to control the Ribbon (CC#1), Active/Bypass (CC#2), Slow/Fast (CC#3), or Tap (CC#4)
  • Available for Mac and Windows as a VST, AAX, and AU plug-in

Energize Your Samples

Undulator excels at evolving pads, sync’d chops, and time-lapsing dreamy soundscapes. Combined with a multi-tap delay and powerful tremolo, Undulator’s controls give any sound sustain and shape. This is perfect for transforming ordinary synths, keys, guitars, and even vocals into evolving pads, tempo-synced production elements, or ethereal and fluctuant delays. Simply put, Undulator can make shorter sounds into longer layered effects, and give sustaining sounds shape and rhythmic character.

The Ribbon allows desktop users to plug in a MIDI keyboard and gain tactile control of Undulator via the mod wheel. Changing the rate and depth of your tremolo for a “ramping up” sweep or sequence becomes very simple with this intuitive performance macro. Use the Ribbon to morph tremolo patterns into vacillating and varying rhythmic territories. This can be effective for calling attention to synth pads and creating a state of flux or rarity which is otherwise arduous to achieve.

Spring

The Classic Sound of a Spring Tank

Spring Reverb models the sound and character of popular spring reverb found in guitar amplifiers, popularized by Surf, Garage and Rockabilly music. Spring takes this a step further by allowing manipulation of physical parameters not normally available in a real spring tank. The results vary from faithful recreations of real springs to distinctive new sounds that push the physical boundaries of reverb.

This vintage reverb sound originally derived from the reflections of sound waves travelling through springs has been given an overhaul for the 21st century and beyond.

Eventide Spring contains two different sized ‘spring tanks’ along with the ability to morph between one and three springs. Easily program The Ribbon to seamlessly transition between any two settings in real-time! The added tube-amp-style tremolo can be routed before or after the spring resulting in an unrivalled ability to craft your own unique reverb sound. Alter the intensity by changing the tremolo depth and adjust the tremolo rate in Hz, or note value when tempo-synced to your project.

Want more control of your tone? Spring has controls to independently manipulate the damping frequency for both the Low and High end. Get even more ring from your spring by adjusting the amount of metallic Resonance present in the High Damping frequency. Guitarists love the revered surfer vibe but all creative musicians will find that Spring makes any synthesizer, drum, or vocal stand out in a mix.

Features

  • Artist presets by Matt Lange, Nick Hook, and Nu-Trix.
  • Tempo Sync reverb decay to your DAW
  • Craft original sounds by changing the number of springs and damping frequency
  • Alter overall resonance by selecting the size of the spring tank
  • Tube-amp-style tremolo that can be routed pre- or post-reverb
  • Create chorus-like effects by altering Modulation Level
  • The Ribbon controller allows for dynamic modification of several knobs at once to easily morph between settings
  • Programmable Hotswitch provides ability to jump instantly to an alternate sound at the push of a button
  • Mac/Windows plug-in version works as VST, AU, AAX

A Brief History of UltraTap

It all started in 1982 with the world’s first rack mount programmable audio processor, the Eventide SP2016, where a flexible 64 tap delay debuted as part of its Factory Program suite. By the late 80’s UltraTap had migrated to the legendary H3000 Harmonizer effects processor and then to the DSP4000 and H8000. Thanks to advances in technology, we were able to include UltraTap in a portable compact form factor, the H9 Harmonizer stompbox. And now UltraTap has come back to the studio via your DAW and FOH environment, where it all began 35 years ago!

Blackhole – Extraterrestrial Reverb

Most reverbs are earth-bound and constrained by the physics of the real world. Our Blackhole reverb breaks the rules by allowing you to create virtual spaces that could never exist in reality (at least the one we inhabit). At large sizes, its soft attack and lingering, harmonic tails allow it to really shine on guitars, strings and pads. At small sizes, those very same qualities can add an angelic sheen to vocals or turn a simple drum track into an otherworldly rhythm section.

From the Extreme to the Sublime

While it’s true Blackhole is capable of creating space-warping special effects and drones, it’s also capable of creating musical and subtle effects you’ll find useful for highlighting key instruments or painting a backdrop for your mix. Whether you’re at the event horizon or closer to home, Blackhole will inspire and amaze while its intuitive controls will allow you to add that special something to your tracks without a degree in rocket science.

In short, Blackhole is destined to be one of those tools that you turn to time and again when reality just isn’t enough.

The Secret Weapon

This famed, massive reverberator first saw the light of day as an algorithm in our rackmount DSP4000 and remained a favorite in the rackmount H8000FW. For decades studio engineers considered Blackhole their “secret weapon.” More recently, it was ported to our Space stompbox and became the go-to ambient effect for guitar and keyboard layers. With each new version the reverb has been refined and enhanced.

We’ve now perfected the galactic sounds of the Blackhole reverb in native plug-in form. With the Blackhole plug-in, any instrument in your DAW can warp acoustic space and time.

MAIN FEATURES

  • Incredibly easy to use with over 50 presets; many created by Eventide artists
  • Ability to create extremely musical effects useful for highlighting key instruments
  • Supernatural settings for abstract spatial effects and drones
  • Subtle settings for ambient washes and track higlighting
  • Unique “Gravity” control reverses the arrow of time by inverting the reverb’s decay
  • Kill Switch mutes the input so you only hear the reverb. This makes for some incredible effects when automated
  • Mix Lock allows for scrolling through presets or settings while keeping the wet/dry mix constant
  • Fully flexible mono and stereo options. Bring new realms of stereo imaging to mono instruments
  • Innovative Ribbon and Hot Switch allow for changing any combination of parameters simultaneously
  • Full support for the Native Instruments NKS Effects system.

Presets Make it Easy

Blackhole was designed to give you extensive control, allowing you to craft your own signature sounds. Included with Blackhole is a carefully curated set of 50 presets that serve as a launch pad for your explorations. These presets cover spaces as small as a room and as large as space itself.

MicroPitch

Dual Voice Pitch-Shifter + Special FX

MicroPitch is a fine-resolution pitch shifter for subtle tone fattening, plus delays for dramatic slap back effects. MicroPitch is the latest incarnation of an iconic effect originated by Eventide in the 1970s. With each generation, Eventide has added refined, enhanced and built-on it’s legendary predecessors.

MicroPitch can take you beyond the run-of-mill stereo spread effects of simple micropitch plugins. It goes above and beyond by allowing you to mix in detuned and delayed versions of your source, creating depth and dimensions not possible before. With its expanded controls you can achieve deep pitch dives, haunting echoes, and pristine chorusing effects.

And, like all H9 series plug-ins, MicroPitch is designed to ‘play’. The RIBBON lets you sweep the effect between two completely different settings. Turn your sweetening shift into a delay-throw and back, or change your delays from dark to bright for transitional effects. Use the Ribbon to add a bit of ‘life’ while you’re mixing. For desktop users, plug in a MIDI keyboard and gain control of the Ribbon via the mod wheel for tactile control of this intuitive performance macro.

Play it Live

The plug-in has been enhanced for experimentation and live performance and fine-tuned for your desktop, laptop or iPad. It also promises much more tweak-ability than simple pitch shifting plugins. Tone, Modulation, and Feedback controls provide territory for ear-catching production techniques. Unleash the full range of MicroPitch’s parameters and you can discover rich repeating delays, thick modulations, and tempo-synced special effects.

MicroPitch’s Proud Legacy

Eventide originated the micropitch effect by accident in the early 1970s with the introduction of the world’s first digital audio effects box, the H910 Harmonizer®. The design of the H910 predates large (and medium) scale integrated circuits, including analogue-to-digital converters, sample rate standards and digital signal processing algorithms. The H910’s system clock was not crystal-based but instead used an LC (inductor/capacitor) oscillator circuit which proved to be just a tad unstable. As a result, the pitch ratio would wiggle about. Early owners of the H910, especially studios that could afford two, discovered that setting the pitch ratio on one H910 to ‘flicker’ between 0.99 and 1.00, while adjusting another to flicker 1.00 and 1.01, resulted in a rich spread stereo effect.

Eventide’s second Harmonizer, the H949, introduced in the mid-1970s, ‘fixed’ the randomness of the H910 by incorporating a rock-steady crystal oscillator. The H949 provided a number of new features made possible by digital audio – reverse effects, de-glitching and “u PC” -thereby formally introducing this new effect into the pro audio lexicon. The H949 was also an early digital audio device, 100% DSP/CPU-free, predominately analogue, and, to achieve small, precise, deviations of pitch it employed using a radio technique called Single Side Band modulation.

With the introduction of the DSP-based Eventide H3000 Harmonizer®, an enhanced version of the MicroPitch effect was developed and the effect became a ‘go-to’ tool for audio pros and artists worldwide. Today’s MicroPitch continues the long tradition of offering ever-expanding capabilities to this fundamental effect.

Rotary Mod

Swirly Leslie Cab Modulation

Rotary Mod is a rotating speaker effect that simulates a Leslie cabinet. Just like the original sound derived from the uber-famous Hammond organ’s Leslie speaker cabinet, the plug-in produces a pulse-like vibrato effect depending on the speed of rotation.

Rotary offers precise control to dial in the exact amount of movement you need. This classic, swirly effect has been used on countless hit records to drastically transform guitars, bass, synths and even vocals.

Desktop users can access the Ribbon with a MIDI mod wheel and play the effect into a production with tactile precision and human feel.

TriceraChorus

Classic Chorusing for the Modern Producer

TriceraChorus is inspired by the classic tri-choruses and stompbox choruses of the 1970s and early 1980s, particularly the Dyno-My-Piano. It pairs rich BBD style tri-chorusing with another signature Eventide effect: micro-pitch detuning. This effect can be used to thicken the sound and widen the stereo field by detuning the left and right signals and pan them opposite directions.

The combination of these effects makes it easy to create syrupy, smooth, and deep modulations on synths, strings, vocals, guitar, bass, and more. TriceraChorus is a great way to add richness and spatial depth to your sounds.

Explore the Depth

TriceraChorus has three chorus voices: Left, Center, and Right. A three-phase LFO modulates the delay times for these voices. This relation ensures that your modulation sounds always have interesting and pleasing movement across the stereo field.

For a classic chorus stompbox sound, set TriceraChorus to “Chorus” mode. If you need something with more complexity and depth, “Chorale” produces lush, swirling choruses inspired by classic rackmount tri-chorus units. For a more psychedelic aesthetic try out “Swirl.”

Performance Ready

TriceraChorus is designed for real time parameter manipulation, resulting in seamless and glitch-free parameter automation of any parameter. Use RIBBON to play or automate sweeps between different settings. Wielding this intuitive performance macro can be great for intensifying the depth of flange-like settings, changing the rate of modulation for transitional effects, or simply controlling the Mix parameters for momentary performance flourishes.

For added live benefit, jump immediately from one setting to another using HOTSWITCH. RIBBON and HOTSWITCH settings are saved per-preset providing great flexibility in exploring the range of possibilities with TriceraChorus.

Features

  • Three voice, Bucket Brigade style stereo Tri-chorus.
  • CHORUS Mode evokes the chorusing effect created by classic chorus stompboxes.
  • CHORALE Mode produces lush, swirling choruses inspired by classic rackmount tri-chorus units.
  • DEPTH controls the amount of modulation applied to the 3 voices from the LFO.
  • DETUNE the left and right channels simultaneously by +/- 40 cents.
  • DELAY sets the amount of delay for the chorusing effect; use it to thicken your signal, create a flange, or slap-back sound.
  • SWIRL adds stereo frequency shifting for a psychedelic flange-like flavour.
  • TONE for shaping the high and low end of your signal. Remove muddy low frequencies or roll of high frequencies for a darker sound.
  • RIBBON lets you sweep the effect between two different settings.
  • Available for Mac and PC as VST, AAX, and AU plug-in.

MangledVerb started life as a popular effect algorithm in Eventide’s rack-mount Eclipse and is one of the key algorithms included in our Space and H9 stompboxes. The plug-in version has been optimized for anyone working ‘in the box’ and presets can be shared between Space, the H9 and the MangledVerb plug-in.

ShimmerVerb

Move Towards the Light

ShimmerVerb combines a massively lustrous reverb with parallel pitch shifters to add ethereal layers making any signal, well, “shimmer.” Oftentimes, producers would achieve the effect by using Eventide pitch-shifting hardware such as the H910, H949, or H3000 or other rack mount units in combination with a reverb. This production technique was popularized by Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno on U2’s The Unforgettable Fire.

Now, this iconic sound has been refined and extended with a modern, unified interface that is great for adding dreamy ambiance to guitars, keys, synths, samples, and vocals. In typical Eventide fashion, features have been added such as the ability to infinitely feedback the signal, resulting in cascading reverbs that smear into oblivion. Feedback can be further fine-tuned by specifying which frequencies are fed back through the low/mid/high cross-over network.

ShimmerVerb shines via its playable, performance-based parameters. THE RIBBON is an easy to program performance macro allowing users to morph between two settings with one control. Desktop users can plug in a MIDI keyboard and gain tactile command over this function via the modulation wheel. Ribbon mappings are great for Feedback swells, moving the Pitch knobs, or changing the Size for a massive detuning result.

ShimmerVerb also boasts a HOTSWITCH for calling up another state of parameters inside the same preset. Use this for changing octaves, turning off/on the pitch shifters, or simply turning the Mix up or down while crafting your performance. Finally, the FREEZE button allows you to make smeared textures out of single voices, full pads, or percussive elements resulting in metallic “shimmers.”

MAIN FEATURES

  • Unique reverb plug-in with parallel pitch-shifters on the reverb tail.
  • Easily pitch with perfect fourths, fifths, and octaves.
  • MicroPitch tuning available around perfect intervals.
  • Four octaves of pitch shifting (from two octaves down to two octaves up).
  • Delay pitched signals up to one second or sync them to your DAW’s tempo.
  • FEEDBACK determines how much delayed signal is fed back into the input of the reverb.
  • Low, Mid, and High cross-over network determines which frequencies are fed back.
  • FREEZE holds the current state of the reverb in a smeared texture.
  • The RIBBON allows for real-time modification of several parameters at once.
  • HOTSWITCH allows for instant switching between two sets of parameters within one preset.

Undulator

Magical Modulated Tremolo

Undulator is Eventide’s classic modulated tremolo effect from the iconic H3000 effects processor. This unique, rhythmic effect combines ethereal feedback and detuned echos, run through an AM / FM modulated tremolo. Whether used for manipulating samples or adding movement to strings, pads, guitars, and keys, Undulator is a muse for creative musicians. Add Undulator into your plug-ins collection for the most playable tremolo-style effect on your DAW or iOS device.

MAIN FEATURES

  • Turn up the MIX to increase the dry/effect ratio
  • Utilize multiple modulation waveform shapes and sources to alter the rhythmic feel
  • Subtly finesse detuning of delays by using SPREAD
  • Add FEEDBACK to accentuate delays or create infinite loops
  • The Secondary LFO determines how fast the depth and speed modulation “wiggle” their targets
  • Lock the tremolo to tempo using SYNC

Precision Time Align

Precision Time Align is a high precision, sub-sample delay that can slide a track forward or backward in time.

It will help you get perfectly synchronized double-tracked recordings and significantly eliminate timing anomalies and phase issues from your mix on multi-mic’d drums, vocals, and instruments.

Blowout Comb: Precision Time Align allows for synchronizing signals to microsecond accuracy, up to 1/64th of a sample.

Recording drums, an electric guitar cabinet, or vocals with more than one mic can be challenging. While the sound recorded from each microphone might sound good on its own, mixing them together can introduce phase anomalies like comb filtering (phased, hollow sound) or low frequency attenuation. Editing in your DAW can help with time-alignment on a sample level.

Precision Time Align gives you much, much finer control – 64x higher resolution, in fact.

Features:

  • Synchronize signals to microsecond accuracy, up to 1/64th of a sample
  • Phase Invert button fixes mirror-image acoustical phasing
  • Precise Coarse and Fine controls optimize time shift in recordings
  • Perform negative delays, moving the track up in time relative to other tracks in the recording
  • Four different methods for calibrating the signal to achieve perfect signal matching
  • Precision Time Delay also included for use with DAWs lacking delay compensation
  • Much faster and more accurate workflow than trying to manually align in your DAW

Whether you wish to combine multiple tracks of a single instrument, compensate for phasing from different mics on a kick drum, or align audio segments for a tracking-only session.

Precision Time Align is ideal for these critical engineering tasks.

  • Windows 8+ AAX 64-bit, VST2 64-bit, VST3 64-bit
  • macOS 10.9+ AAX 64-bit, AU 64-bit, VST2 64-bit, VST3 64-bit
  • An iLok account is required, but no physical dongle is necessary.

Instant Flanger Mk II

Classic Flanging for a Modern Mix

The Instant Flanger Mk II brings the great sound of vintage tape flanging to your plug-in toolbox. An authentic emulation of the original 1975 studio rackmount, the Instant Flanger was famously used on David Bowie’s “Ashes to Ashes” and Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time.” A truly versatile tool, engineers and producers have used it for stereo sweetening, subtle modulations, double-tracking, and extreme flanging effects.

Spread the Sound Around with Pseudo Stereo

Turn flat mono guitars into huge stereo leads or have your single-channel synthesizer fill out the sides of your mix with pseudo-stereo. The Instant Flanger Mk II has dual outputs that create three different sonic images – “Shallow”, “Deep”, and “Wide”. Combining “Wide” Mode with the “Low Cut” control is an easy way to place multiple harmonies behind the lead. Fine-tune the resonance of your flanging effect by using the “Depth” and “Feedback” controls.

True End-to-end Emulation

Tape machines use servo motors to run at a constant speed and when an engineer pressed a thumb on the flange and then suddenly let go, the capstan motor servo reacts – overshooting and undershooting as it seeks to recover proper speed. In other words, it ‘bounces’. The Instant Flanger convincingly mimicked this behaviour with its innovative “Bounce” control knob. Use this feature to add a real-world groove to your tracks.

MAIN FEATURES

  • Depth controls the intensity of the effect. 100% adds the delayed signal to the dry signal. -100 % subtracts the dry signal from the delayed signal
  • Three distinct flavours of flanging. Set the Mode switch for Shallow, Deep or Wide
  • Manual control allows you to control the ‘comb’ effect by turning the Big Knob
  • Oscillator drives the flanging at a user-defined rate
  • Envelope Follower drives the flanging based on the signal’s amplitude
  • Remote maps the flanging control to a mod wheel for tactile manipulation
  • Bounce mimics the distinctive effect of the tape machine’s capstan motor “hunting” for its proper speed when the engineer’s thumb was lifted from the tape reel flange
  • “Side Chain” allows for triggering the Envelope Follower from any source in the mix for inter-track mingling
  • Exercise total control of the Oscillator with Sync and Retrig
  • Tame the intensity by removing low frequencies from the flanged signal with the Low Cut control

Distinguishing Flanging from Phasing Since 1975

Instant Flanger Ad 1975The method of tape flanging was originally achieved by playing back a track on two separate tape machines and using your thumb to apply pressure to the “tape flange” thereby slightly slowing down one of the machines. In the tape era, before the introduction of electronic effects devices, the terms “phasing” and “flanging” were used interchangeably. Then, in 1971, Eventide released the Instant Phaser which was based on analog filters rather than delay.

When the Instant Flanger was released in 1975, the original hardware manual explained “Old model phasing units used analog circuitry to modify the frequency spectrum. Eventide’s Instant Flanger uses a true time delay circuit, producing many more nulls and thus a much deeper effect than previously available with an all-electronic unit.”

Clockworks Bundle

8 Iconic Plug-ins

Rewind time with an iconic collection of Eventide studio classics

In 1971, in a New York City basement, Eventide Clockworks revolutionized the audio industry by creating the world’s first studio effects processor–the Instant Phaser and pro audio’s first digital device, the Digital Delay Line. Over the course of the following decade, Eventide would release the world’s first Harmonizer®, the H910, along with the other industry firsts: Omnipressor®, Instant Flanger, H949, and SP2016.

Now, producers and engineers can evoke the classic effects heard on countless records from the last 50 years with the Clockworks Bundle. Painstakingly modelling every aspect of these hardware units was neither quick nor easy but now the must-have sonic beauty of these classic boxes is available for use with your favourite DAW live or in the studio.

Instant Phaser Mk II

The Instant Phaser was the world’s first studio phaser and the first rack mount effects unit, period. Originally intended to make the painstaking task of tape flanging quick and easy, engineers and producers would use it for smooth, transparent modulation and pleasing stereo decorrelation. It used analogue all-pass filters to mimic the effect achieved by time delay resulting in a modulation effect all its own. Experience all of its analogue charm with the Instant Phaser Mk II plugin and add “Age” to taste.

Features

  • Add Age for component drift and electrical leakage in your phaser.
  • Offers three different flavours of phasing with the Mode switch: Shallow, Deep, and Wide.
  • Utilize one of four distinct methods to control the phasing.
  • Depth allows you to combine the phased signal with the dry signal.
  • Added Side Chain function allows you to trigger the Envelope Follower from a separate source in the mix for inter-track mingling.
  • Exercise total control of the Oscillator with Sync and Retrig controls.
  • Use Feedback control for a more pronounced sound.
  • Includes standard gain input and output.

Instant Flanger Mk II

The Instant Flanger utilized newfangled bucket brigade ICs for swept delay resulting in a ‘true’, time-based, emulation of tape flanging. Whereas the Instant Phaser offered several methods of controlling modulation, the Instant Flanger allowed engineers to combine these controls. The result, more control layers and less predictable sweeps. Explore vintage modulation sweetness with the Instant Flanger Mk II.

Features

  • Depth controls the intensity of the effect. 100% adds the delayed signal to the dry signal. -100 % subtracts the dry signal from the delayed signal.
  • Three distinct flavours of flanging. Set the Mode switch for Shallow, Deep or Wide.
  • Manual control allows you to control the ‘comb’ effect by turning the Big Knob.
  • Oscillator drives the flanging at a user-defined rate.
  • Envelope Follower drives the flanging based on the signal’s amplitude.
  • Remote maps the flanging control to a mod wheel for tactile manipulation.
  • Bounce mimics the distinctive effect of the tape machine’s capstan motor “hunting” for its proper speed when the engineer’s thumb was lifted from the tape reel flange.
  • “Side Chain” allows for triggering the Envelope Follower from any source in the mix for inter-track mingling.
  • Exercise total control of the Oscillator with Sync and Retrig.
  • Tame the intensity by removing low frequencies from the flanged signal with the Low Cut control.

Omnipressor

The Omnipressor, released in 1974, set the stage as the first dynamics effects processor, introducing the concepts of infinite compression, dynamic reversal, and side-chaining. The flexible nature makes the Omnipressor plugin a must-have, with options to control all aspects of dynamic modification.

Features

  • Dynamics processing for creating otherworldly sounds.
  • Gating, expansion, compression, limiting, and Dynamic Reversal.
  • An intuitive interface makes it simple to operate with the use of a Function dial.

H910 Harmonizer

The H910 Harmonizer was the world’s first digital effects unit. With its unique combinations of pitch shifting, feedback, modulation and delay, it was a huge hit across studios worldwide. Thickening snares, guitars and vocals are H910’s bread and butter, but robot sounds and gritty octaves are just as easily dialed in. The bundle includes H910 Dual.

Features

  • NEW Keyboard and MIDI mapping – The original H910 featured a keyboard remote control which was used live by several artists including Elton John. With the H910 plug-in you can easily use MIDI to control pitch and harmonization in real-time.
  • NEW Envelope Follower – An envelope follower has also been implemented in this latest release. Engineers and producers discovered that sending a control voltage to the hardware H910 could be used to slightly (or massively) vary the pitch, creating entirely new sounds. The built-in envelope follower makes exploring these possibilities easy.
  • NEW OUT2 Delay Group – adds inspiring attributes to your sound.
  • True analogue modelling of highly nonlinear electronics for faithful reproduction of the original H910’s juicyness and grit.
  • Perform perfect pitch changes controlled manually, via MIDI or with Anti-Feedback.
  • Anti-Feedback modulates the pitch around unity for a subtle or wild effect.
  • Optional “glitching” of original H910 hardware to create unpredictable sounds as it alters the pitch.
  • Modify pitch by musical intervals (diatonic) to harmonize vocals or solo instruments.
  • Delay rhythms and melodies to create everything from slap-back echoes to feedback chaos.
  • Create colourful, unique sound effects and drones through self-oscillation.
  • Individually control delay outputs and dry/wet mix.
  • Mix Lock allows for scrolling through presets or settings while keeping the dry/wet mix constant.

BONUS: H910 Dual

  • H910 Dual recreates two H910 units running in parallel to create doubling effects and other unique sounds.
  • H910 Dual easily fattens and thickens instruments when assigning opposite pitch ratios.
  • H910 Dual Stereo (cross-unit) Feedback can cause the incoming signal to shift up and then down continuously.

SP2016 Reverb

In 1981, the SP2016 was released and was the world’s first programmable effects processor featuring ROM chips that “plugged in” under the hood making it possible to add new effects in the field. While it was not a Clockworks effects unit, the SP2016 earned its spot on this roster as it marks the opening chapter of modern Eventide effects processors, with the H9000 its current incarnation. The SP2016 Reverb plug-in includes modern and vintage versions of its signature Stereo Room, Room, and Hi-Density Plate.

Features

  • Room – Your basic no-nonsense, no-frills ambient “room.” It’s a mono effect with stereo outputs. The extreme Pre-Delay range makes it possible to use this effect for reverberant doubling and single echoes.
  • Stereo Room – Recreates the ambience of a large concert hall, with very clear, natural reverberation. It’s characteristically natural and shines on instruments where a natural sound is a desire – like vocals, drums, acoustic guitar, strings, and horns
  • Hi-Density Plate – Plate-type reverb with dual pickups simulating the effect of a bigger, heavier plate. This reverb allows you to make vocals, guitars and percussive instruments appear much bigger and brighter than they actually are.
  • Control the structure of the reverb by fine-tuning the controls – including PreDelay, Decay, Position and Diffusion. The EQ section allows for simple high and low filtering of the reverb with adjustable filter ranges. The low filter can be used to cut OR boost at the specified frequency.
  • Boasts a variety of artist presets including some by Dave Pensado, Richard Devine, Joe Chiccarelli, Sasha, George Massenberg, The Butcher Bros., Buda and Grandz, and more.

H949 Harmonizer

In 1977, Eventide released the H949, standing on the shoulders of the H910 as the second in Eventide’s family of Harmonizers. It introduced a formal micro pitch-shifting mode, which is a great sound for lead guitar virtuosos. It also had the first Reverse delays and introduced a Random pitch mode, which works great as an automatic double-track for guitars and vocals. And, the H949 conquered the ‘glitch’ by using advanced autocorrelation techniques. The bundle includes H949 Dual.

CrushStation

Drive your Tone from Creamy Saturation to a Brutal Sonic Assault

CrushStation is a versatile, best-in-class, stereo distortion platform for your Mac or PC. Its controls can drive your tone from creamy saturation to a brutal sonic assault. But distortion is just the starting point. CrushStation brings multi-effects to the mix by adding a three-band EQ, Compression, Octave Mix and, Eventide’s unique take on failing hardware, the Sag control.

Use the MIX Control to blend your dry signal with CrushStation to create parallel compression, distortion, and other creative effects.

Fix, Fit & Feature

CrushStation’s combination of ingredients creates a plugin that excels at the three broad ways distortion effects can be deployed. FX expert and author, Alex Case, refers to them as the “3Fs”: FIT, FIX and FEATURE:

  • FIX” a weak snare track by adding just a bit of Grit & Compression.
  • “FIT” finesse the lead into your mix by adding a bit of warmth and bottom.
  • “FEATURE” the lead by crushing it ‘til it hurts.

Features

  • 35 PRESETS painstakingly tailored to cover all the bases.
  • DRIVE from shallow subtle boost to deep overdrive distortion.
  • GRIT and SUSTAIN push into fuzz territory.
  • SAG was inspired by Eventide’s experience of the sound of dying analogue gear; the power rail sags and the amp starts sputtering, cutting out and sounding ‘broken’.
  • MIX in higher and lower OCTAVES then turn up the DRIVE and SUSTAIN to crush them together to form massive new textures.
  • GRIT for low-end, gritty, chugging sounds.
  • 3-Band EQ to shape your tone.
  • GATE your signal to tame an aggressive distortion output, or get aggressive with high threshold gating and dry MIX for parallel gated crunch.
  • RIBBON lets you ‘play’ the effect in real-time and provides dynamic and fluid control to morph back and forth between the settings of your choice.
  • HOTSWITCH allows you to instantly switch between two different distinct settings within the same preset at the push of a button.
  • MIXLOCK keeps MIX control constant as you audition presets.
  • Available for Mac and PC as VST, AAX, and AU plug-in.

Play It Live

Originally developed for the Eventide H9 Harmonizer® pedal, CrushStation has been enhanced for experimentation and live performance and fine-tuned for your desktop, laptop or iPad. Like all H9 series plug-ins, CrushStation is designed to ‘play’. The Ribbon lets you sweep the effect between two completely different settings. On one end you can have a gritty dark EQ, and on the other a wall of sound using heavy Compression, Sag, and Octaves during a solo or intense transition. Even a dramatic effect can become boring if it remains static throughout a track. Use the Ribbon to add a bit of ‘life’ while you’re mixing. For desktop users, plug in a MIDI keyboard and gain control of the Ribbon via the mod wheel for tactile and nuanced morphs and sweeps.

Presets Make It Easy

The plug-in comes loaded with 35 Factory Presets that cover the many ways that you’ll want to use it. Presets capable of adding spice, flair, crude and crunch to suit a variety of production styles. Get guitars, bass and synth to sit perfectly in the mix by dialling in warmth and depth with “PunkRock Lobster.” The Grit control in “Fat n Snappy” adds preamp-style distortion that can help bring out kicks in the mix with. “Big Pop Octaves” adds subtle distortion and lower octaves for unique pitch blending vocal effects. Further fine-tune your sound using the three-band EQ to tame cymbals and vocal sibilance.
