Another great additive synthesis based synth for Native Instruments Reaktor from Cycles & Spots great for the genres Ambient, Cinematic, Abstract and even for some danceable stuff.

It comes with 100 presets, half of them are controlled via MIDI input and the other 50 make use of the inbuild step sequencer. The presets range from beautiful to weird in a good sense and percussive elements. The instruments allows you to step or scan through 4 additive oscillators to create interresting sounds and sequences.

The scanning is done by an LFO which can be set from sine to random, so ongoing modulation could be set up. There are 2 combfilters included, one for the left and one for the right channel to manipulate the stereo field. A resonator can make the sounds string like and add a spring reverb style character. Speaking of, there is an extensive reverb to round things of.

Cycles & Spots have created a generative (self-playing) wavetable synthesizer for NI Reaktor.

It is perfect for Ambient / Abstract music productions and can generate ever modulating sounds. It features 2 wavetable oscillators that are triggered by an LFO each. These syncable LFOS have various shapes including sample & hold and can be cross-modulated. They also can influence the wave positions. These LFOs bring lots of life into the potentially ever modulating sound. Random pitch can be applied and also quantized to certain scales and keys.

Last but not least 4 added effects (frequency shifter with its own 3rd LFO, grain delay with more random options, diffusion delay, reverb) round up the output and make it sound spacy/ roomy and dimensional in terms of the stereo field.

Spawn is great for sound design and creating soundscapes or effect sounds, both harmonic and disharmonic.

Cycles & Spots developed another fine instrument for NI Reaktor

A sampler filled with 1980s flavored samples (270 Loops = 90 Kits with 3 tracks each) and a chop engine which let’s you play slices via MIDI input and process these further. This sample slicer is usable for any 80s related genres like Vaporwave, Synthpop and also to flavor genres like Hip Hop and even House music productions with that nostalgia feel.

A reel tape and vinyl simulation is added to get make the sound Lo-Fi and more authentic.

Additionally you can dial in a delay and a reverb effect. You can chop up the kits up to 64 slices and each of the kit’s 3 tracks can be offset individually. All controls can be mapped (Reaktor standard) and therefor sequenced modulation can make your creations more alive and arrangeable. Each Track can be routed to external outputs as well. You could fill in your own samples if they consist of 3 fitting tracks, although not intended.
