Do not be fooled by the “Minimalist” title. Minimalism is all about the subtleties and a sublime state of mind. There is typically more going on underneath the surface than what is immediately apparent. Rather than focus on a specific genre, “Minimalist Textures” is all about a certain “feel” – lightweight, airy, dreamy, sometimes lo-fi or digial, yet truly ORIGINAL. Each patch fuses together different elements from a wide variety of musical styles – Minimal House, 8-bit, IDM, Chillwave, Dub Techno, Hip Hop, Dubtronica, etc, – and spits out a unique result.

Razor-X is an enhanced version of the great additive Reaktor synth Razor by Native Instruments, and can have a variety of uses in music production. The enhancements add a new layer of programmability to make sound design easier and more powerful. The Recordable Animator Pad enables any Razor parameter to be controlled by the X/Y pad, enabling very subtle transformations of multiple parameters simultaneously. Pad movements can be recorded and played back polyphonically, with velocity control over speed and output range. This can lead to really fluid sonic transformations where each note is unique in the polyphonic blend.

The Sample-and-Hold section provides a modulation source based on classic S+H behaviour. The Razor-X S+H system enables polyphonic cyclic patterns, mixed with randomness, to be merged together on the S+H Input pad and sent to any target in Razor. This enables some very unique rhythmic event patterns, assisted by the Clock Pulser, which fires synchronized trigger events to the Envelope Generators.

The Razor-X routing enables the Animator Pad to control the S+H, or the other way around. To round off the enhancements, 2 step-sequencers have been added, which can control any target by routing through the Animator, or control the Animator and S+H pad positions, depth and lag.

The Abyss (Latin Abyssus bottomless) is an infinite Leap Into The Void of primeval rituals and imposing widths.
Pushed towards immeasurable amounts of audiovisual colors, everything in The Abyss is organic, static and alive at the same time, where time is non-existent. You could think of it as a new phase derived and progressed from the Enchantment volumes.

The sounds of The Abyss contains completely new sound design discoveries and is also built from the now vast Leap Into The Void collection of specially tailored waveforms and envelopes. There are roughly 600 sculpted waveforms each tailored for the specific module.

Main focus are tempo-synced sounds of form and un-form, all the way from thunderous, distorted and noisy to ultra short clicks and glitches. Second focus are long sounds, be it drones, soundscapes, obscured bells and sounds with long release. Third focus are sounds of various category.
Feedback has played an important role while designing The Abyss.
To try to enable as much sound shaping as possible using the assigned macro faders, I’ve decided to mainly use two channels. This does of course vary depending on the preset.

MIDI files allow you to switch any progression in a different key and assign these melodic phrases to your favorite synth or sampler to slot perfectly into your next production at any tempo.

Import your chosen file into your sequencer software, and you’re then free to get creative with variations and re-arrange the musical phrases exactly as you want it, add your own unique sound or fx and build up your new track!

We also added expertly prepared, unique sounding textures in WAV as a bonus to work seamlessly with all major software.

All WAV loops are provided in super-high fidelity 24 bit format and in a wide range of tempos (110, 120, 130 and 140bpm) to fit any genre: They will perfectly match with the MIDI files and be a great addition to your new production.

They have also been clearly labelled by tempo and musical key, carefully processed and optimized to sound huge: Simply add a touch of your favorite effects, EQ to your taste and you’re good to go.
You can expect to find more than 1400 MB of original material containing 40 MIDI files and 500 stunning WAV loops with variations of textures sorted in 5 sub groups (Mellow Piano, Flanging Electric Piano, Moog Synth, Soaring Pad, Prog Pluck)
