RipX: DeepRemix

Cutting-Edge Separation, Sampling, Remixing & Song Creation Software

Cutting-edge remix software that splits full-mix stereo MP3s, WAVs and most mainstream file formats into voice, drums, bass, keyboard, guitar, sound effects and other layers.

Export straight to WAV stems to add to your DJ set or to perform or practise over, or use DeepRemix‘s powerful remix software tools to take your music to the next level, copying and pasting parts between tracks and much more!

Remove Vocals. Extract Stems. Create Music.

Audio is stored in Hit’n’Mix’s revolutionary Rip format, a step up from waveforms, enabling full control over all aspects of sound.

For example, you can mix your favorite parts together and have fun experimenting with different tempos, effects, pitches, scales, time-stretching, stereo panning (even on mono tracks), volume, and EQ. You can even create loops and edit them during playback to create new music in real-time.

Copy and paste parts from one track to another, automatically fitting the new tempo.

Apply powerful built-in live effects ranging from Reverse to Delay to Vibrato. Add Harmony to thicken out a vocal, Shift Formant to change the characteristics or apply a Low/High Pass filter for a different atmosphere.

For real inspiration, apply the Randomize effect, set a loop playing and DeepRemix will automatically create variations of the audio in what we call a Ripple. You can play back, edit and copy & paste audio from a Ripple to your working Rip, or even loop and edit it real-time to create further Ripples.

Changing a song’s musical scale

To help getting the right notes & chords, you can set the musical scale or key of the track – or click Detect and let RipX work it out for you. Notes will snap to the pitches that are part of the scale as you change their pitch by clicking and dragging up/down.

Turn on Auto Pitch To Scale and RipX automatically fits notes to the scale, whilst keeping it sounding natural.

The Randomize effect means you can set up a loop and hear sections of music played back in different scales – find the one that you like best.

Remix software with the right mood

Drop your own background image (PNG or JPEG) onto the rip to set the mood when creating music.

For Remixers

  • Mix & match vocal, instrument, percussion and effects parts between different songs and layers, with revolutionary remix software.
  • Create acapellas.
  • Change tempo and apply/randomize effects and key.
  • Extract and manipulate samples from within mixed and mastered stereo files.
  • Remove drums, bass and vocals that might be in the way of other vocals, instruments or percussion, especially if the track wasn’t recorded as separate stems.
  • Transform old mono recordings to stereo.

For DJs

  • Export separated stems straight to WAVs to transfer onto a USB stick for mixing into a DJ set.
  • Change tempo and apply/randomize effects and key.
  • Mix & match vocal, instrument, percussion and effects parts between different songs and layers.
  • Transform old mono recordings to stereo.

For Musicians

  • Analyze and change tempo of existing music to help learn how to play.
  • Create backing tracks to play along to.

For Arrangers, Transcribers & Music Publishers

  • Extract and export parts as MIDI files to import into notation software.
  • Analyze notes for transcription. If you have a customer who wants a score that sounds as similar to an existing recording as possible, RipX can expose the subtle nuances.
  • Extract and delete vocal parts to create instrumentals from stereo masters for sync placement purposes, without needing to open a single, original multitrack DAW project.
  • Alter the structure of stereo files by deleting, copying and pasting sections within rips, as well as creating new sections.

For Songwriters

  • Experiment with music and samples to create new ideas and creations. For example, adjust tempo, effects, pitches, keys/scales and time stretch.
  • Use Set Musical Scale to analyze the existing key and set new keys. The Auto Pitch To Scale and Randomize options further enable creative experimentation.

For Students & Educators

  • Study compositions and performances of yourself or others. View the precise volume, timing and variation in pitch of each note over time and make subtle adjustments to hear the difference.
  • Rip and separate MP3s and audio files into vocal, instrument and percussion parts, then view the individual notes of any part and practice against backing tracks.
  • Create new versions of songs and compositions and import background images to match the feel of the music or for personalized inspiration.
  • Experiment with new sounds and effects.
  • Import samples or MIDI from existing works.
  • Create minimalist compositions with real-time editing of loops, stored as Ripples.
  • Experiment with polystylism and polytonality by applying different scales to selections of notes.

Transmutator

A cross-fade effect can be useful but a simple blending of one material into another can be a bit boring. Fortunately, there’s now Transmutator which brings transition between tracks, song parts or whole songs to another level of fun and creativity.

Transmutator has many uses including, transitioning from different sections in tracks (for example verse to chorus or build-up to drop), mixing between two songs (for example in a DJ set), or sound design by fusing and morphing two elements together in various creative ways.

Please Note: This product only works with sidechain signals therefore applications that do not support this kind of routing (i.e. GarageBand) do not work well with it.

Transmutator Key Features

More than cross-fade

Transmutator is a cutting-edge tool that crossfades between two inputs in a multitude of exciting ways. Simply place the plugin on your track and feed a second track into its sidechain input.

Then use the Mix dial to transition from A to B using various unique modes.

16 (x2) astonishing blend modes

Transmutator offers many creative ways to fade between inputs including Mid/Side, Multi-band, Dynamics, Filtering, Spectral freezing/blurring, Pitch/Frequency shifting and much more. Plus, the Invert parameter changes the behaviour of each of the modes.

Sound designer’s swiss army knife
Blend and fuse 2 audio signals in many creative ways, from spectral morphing to Noise/Tone merging. You will find so many innovative uses for Transmutator, that it will become a powerful tool in your plugin arsenal.

From classic to creative

Use the Dry/Wet slider to blend between a traditional volume crossfader to full-on sonic mangling. Find the perfect balance that naturally fits your audio.

Transition between track elements
Automate the mix control in your DAW to effortlessly progress from verse to chorus or build-up to drop. Transmutator will quickly create ingenious transitions to take your music productions to the next level.

Mixing between songs
DJs will fall in love with Transmutator for mixing between tracks. Say goodbye to boring song transitions using basic volume mixing and say hello to your new creative crossfader.

Video-makers’ lives improved
Create effects that follow your video transitions or blend between types of music that normally do not go together well (but you simply have to use them because they fit the picture). Blend between characters voiceovers like never before.

Realistic 3D yet flexible GUI
Photorealistic graphic user interface of the plugin gives you the feeling you are touching the real hardware. But it easily adapts to your needs. You can always drag the arrow in the bottom right corner to change its size – make it smaller to save the valuable screen space, or enlarge it to make it easier to use.

64-bit audio quality at ANY sampling rate
The plugin provides the maximum audio quality you can get. It uses internal 64-bit audio processing and can handle any sampling rate. 192 kHz or even higher.

Smart bypass
The intelligent way our plugins manage bypassing ensures that you don’t get any click or harmful noises when automating the parameter. It also compensates for latency ensuring that the bypass states are perfectly in sync with each other.

Compatibility Warning
