AirWave is fantastically powerful joystick-controlled quad vector digital oscillator, featuring over 200 looped PCM sample waves. Separate outs for each wave and a sample rate knob enable easy creation of radical and unearthly timbres.

Poly AirWave delivers the same rich, dense, evolving soundscapes of our AirWave module in a fully polyphonic version. A fantastically powerful joystick-controlled quad vector digital oscillator, Poly AirWave features over 200 looped PCM sample waves. Its flexible modulation options and super easy-to-configure vector envelope section make it must-have for creating evolving timbres. Separate outs for each wave and a sample rate knob enable easy creation of radical and unearthly timbres.

Four on the Floor

Xpand!2 is a multitimbral workstation offering four active sound slots, or parts, per patch. Each part is provided with its own MIDI channel, Note Range (Zone), Mix, Arpeggiation, Modulation, and Effects settings—an excellent method for creating individual parts.

Harnessing the four parts together to build one amazing Patch is where Xpand!2 reveals its true power. The Voice Mode for each part can be set to polyphonic or monophonic.

Polyphonic parts can have up to 64 voices; monophonic parts offer First, Last, Highest, or Lowest priority making it easy to designate a bass, lead, or solo instrument.

Six smart knobs are provided for custom-tweaking your Xpand!2 sounds. Each knob changes function depending on the part selected, offering hands-on control of the most critical sound elements.

Select the Easy mode, and all six knobs now control all four of the common parts in a patch simultaneously for quickly performing those crucial edits.

And of course, all of your edits can be saved for instant recall.

Major Modulation

Express yourself with powerful performance features! Pitch Bend wheel and Aftertouch (pressure) modulation assignments can be made independently for each part.

Modulation rates can be tempo sync’d or free-wheeling. Numerous modulation destinations are provided, and the WAVE destination parameters are different from part to part, providing unique Xpand!2 sound-shaping capabilities.

Advanced Arpeggiation

Keep things moving with advanced arpeggiation. Simply set the Rate—including dotted and triplet values—and then select the Mode.

Using the Latch switch allows the arpeggiator to continue to play, even when your hands leave the keyboard. Each Xpand!2 part is provided with its own arpeggiator.

Many parts such as Action Pads and Loops will automatically activate the Arpeggiator, as it forms an integral part of the sound.

Dynamic Effects Duo

Xpand!2 includes two independent effect processors with fifty studio-grade effects, ranging from rich reverbs to the mind-bending Chaos Delay.

When selecting a new effect type, Xpand!2 will instantly change the edit knob functions to provide accurate control of every effect. The output of FX1 can be fed into the input of FX2 to create advanced “cascade-style” effects.

The Heart

Orbitron is a multi-FX modulation plugin. Advanced FX Morphing

The main circle in the centre of the plugin morphs between the 4 FX sections. It can be modulated in sync with your DAW for musical timing, set to random for subtle variations and organic movements or in manual mode that lets you blend between the 4 sections to find the perfect sweet spot.

Circular Feedback

There is a unique circular feedback network that feeds the signal from each FX section into the next and then back round again and again. This cool effect can be used with just one simple knob. There is also a size knob to adjust the delays of the feedback loops. This effect can add anything from short metallic resonances to lush evolving reverb.

12 Multi-Modes

Each of the 4 FX sections can be set to one of 12 modes, including choruses, flangers, phaser, special filters and more. You can use 4 completely different modes and blend between them to create a hybrid, or use 4 of the same and create subtle differences in each section to make super-rich modulations.

Need to Go Simpler?

Orbitron at its heart blends and modulates between 4 FX at once, however, you can always take the step back to simple modulation. Each section sounds perfect on its own and sometimes this will be exactly what you need. For this, there is a solo switch in each section, that disables the other 3 sections. This will also be much more CPU efficient than using 4 processors at once.

Orbitron comes with a huge number of presets made by top producers and sound designers. They’re grouped conveniently into categories, such as, “Solo” for presets that only use 1 FX section, “Multi” that uses 4 different FXs of similar type and “Hybrid” that creatively fuse very different FX.

Intelligent Sleep on Silence

Vintage Voice comes fully loaded with SynthVoice, SynthVoice Filter, DCO-60, VCF-60, and Chorus-60 modules.

SynthVoice is a complete semi-modular vintage synthesizer, featuring two oscillators, a multi-mode filter, an LFO, dual envelope generators, sample and hold, and spring reverb. It’s like having a classic ARP 2600 synthesizer in your modular rack.

SynthVoice Filter delivers the ballsy, pure analog tonality of the ARP 2600 vintage synthesizer. It features lowpass and highpass modes, with selectable 12 or 24 db/oct slopes.

DCO-60 models every element of the beloved classic Juno-106 synthesizer, from its self-oscillating filter to its dreamy chorus effect, all combined in a fully-polyphonic module, loaded with patch points, that has to be heard to be believed. Cherry Audio have even recreated the entire “A” bank of original factory presets.

VCF-60 is a separate module containing the highpass and lowpass filters from the DCO-60 vintage synthesizer module. With independently patchable sections and a self-resonating lowpass section, it’s the perfect replication of the classic 80’s Juno synth sound.

Chorus-60 is an expanded version of the DCO-60 chorus section and precisely replicates the giant, lush stereo spread of classic Roland Juno synthesizers. It adds stereo spread and wet/dry mix controls for added flexibility.

Also included in this bundle are a selection of presets designed to explore the raw power of the SynthVoice module, and the beautiful elegance of the DCO-60 module. Note: These presets are designed to work with modules from the Voltage Modular Core package.

MMorph lets you morph between 2 audio materials, leading to inexhaustible creative potential. It sounds unbelievable, is extremely versatile and insanely fast.

Powerful spectral processing, just one knob…

Unlike simple cross-fading, which is just like have 2 faders one going down and the other going up, MMorph analyzes both input signal, one sent via the main input and the other via side-chain, analyzes both and finds important features and morphs them instead. Much like morphing photo of one person to another. It can be used to combine voices to any tonal instrument, produce robotic voices, morph between 2 different songs etc. And all of that complex mathematics is available using just one big knob! Powerful modulation

Bringing movement and dynamism to the Multi Filters, Godfazer’s dual Modulators each enable one of four styles of cutoff/center frequency modulation to be brought into play.

Apply static offset to the left and right channels with the Constant Modulator; get things wobbling with the tempo-syncable, pannable, phase-adjustable LFO; generate a modulation signal based on input amplitude with the envelope Follower; and hand craft your own synced or free-running cyclical progressions with the 16-step Step sequencer.

Freedom of routing

Both Modulators are routed independently to each Multi Filter, for truly complex signal blending, and the polarity of every input can be inverted at a click.

The Multi Filters themselves are configurable for parallel or serial signal flow using six topology options, which also determine the position of the Ensemble within the chain.

The Cherry Audio Year Two Collection assembles all of Cherry Audio’s killer “high-end” modules from Voltage Modular’s second year including SynthVoice, SynthVoice Filter, DCO-60, VCF-60, Chorus-60, AirWave, Poly AirWave, AirVector, AirStep, FM Station, Poly FM Station, EG Station, Poly EG Station, and the brand-new Polymode synthesizer module.

Products

Polymode is a complete instrument inspired by the legendary 70s Polymoog synthesizer. One of the world’s first polyphonic synthesizers, it excels at large pads, strings, and vocal-esque sounds, and its unique multiple filter implementation and mod routings give it a sound like no other synth.

SynthVoice is a complete semi-modular vintage synthesizer, featuring two oscillators, a multi-mode filter, an LFO, dual envelope generators, sample and hold, and spring reverb. It’s like having a classic ARP 2600 synthesizer in your modular rack.

SynthVoice Filter delivers the ballsy, pure analogue tonality of the ARP 2600 vintage synthesizer. It features lowpass and highpass modes, with selectable 12 or 24 dB/oct slopes.

DCO-60 models every element of the beloved classic Juno-106 synthesizer, from its self-oscillating filter to its dreamy chorus effect, all combined in a fully-polyphonic module, loaded with patch points, that has to be heard to be believed. Cherry Audio have even recreated the entire “A” bank of original factory presets.

VCF-60 is a separate module containing the highpass and lowpass filters from the DCO-60 vintage synthesizer module. With independently patchable sections and a self-resonating lowpass section, it’s the perfect replication of the classic 80’s Juno synth sound.

Chorus-60 is an expanded version of the DCO-60 chorus section and precisely replicates the giant, lush stereo spread of classic Roland Juno synthesizers. It adds stereo spread and wet/dry mix controls for added flexibility.

AirStep brings the sought-after sound of wave sequencing to the modular environment. With over 300 onboard PCM sample waves and massively flexible modulation, trigger, and sync options, AirStep takes wave sequencing synthesis to an entirely new level. Its advanced interfaces tremendously simplify the creation of complex wave sequences.

AirVector is a joystick-controlled quad vector mixer, usable with any Voltage Modular audio signals. Its flexible modulation options and super easy-to-configure vector envelope section make it must-have for creating evolving timbres.

AirWave is fantastically powerful joystick-controlled quad vector digital oscillator, featuring over 200 looped PCM sample waves. Its flexible modulation options and super easy-to-configure vector envelope section make it must-have for creating evolving timbres. Separate outs for each wave and a sample rate knob enable easy creation of radical and unearthly timbres.

Poly AirWave delivers the same rich, dense, evolving soundscapes of our AirWave module in a fully polyphonic version. A fantastically powerful joystick-controlled quad vector digital oscillator, Poly AirWave features over 200 looped PCM sample waves. Its flexible modulation options and super easy-to-configure vector envelope section make it must-have for creating evolving timbres. EG Station features eight fully independent ADSR envelope generators. Though it’s intended for use with the Cherry Audio FM Station oscillator module, it can be used with any modules in Voltage. It packs a lot of envelopes into a compact footprint and features velocity CV inputs for CV control of envelope intensity.

FM Station is a digital oscillator inspired by classic Yamaha digital synths of the 80s, it uses frequency-modulation (FM) synthesis to create tones. Combining incredible sound quality and ease of use never before seen in an FM sound module, FM Station is a must-have module!

MSoundFactory may well be the most powerful instrument out there. It’s modular, so you can have any number of oscillators, filters, samplers etc. you want.

It features per-voice and global modulation, full MPE support, the best sounding oscillators on the market, a fully modular effects engine… and Melda are just getting started…

MSoundFactory will most likely be a never-ending project. Melda are probably not going to make any further instruments, instead they are going to implement further modules and features into the mighty MSoundFactory.

MSoundFactory currently comes with many presets converted from MPowerSynth and several fully-featured instruments, but it’s far from being “ready”. However, it can already be used by creative minds looking for an extremely powerful instrument.

The only necessary module needed to be added to the first official release is a sampler, so please stay in tune.

Unique Visualisation Engine with Classic Meters and Time Graphs

• Your ears should always be the main tool, but they are not the only way to judge your audio. Visual aids can be incredibly useful for a variety of reasons. Melda’s comprehensive metering system is extremely flexible and delivers you accurate information when you need it. From classic meters to time-based graphs, you will see important visual feedback including; Input, Output, Stereo width, Loudness, Waveforms, Bands, Gain reduction and Sidechain, and some plugin dependent meters.

Modulators

• MSoundFactory provides 8 fully-featured modulators which can control any set of parameters including other modulators. Each modulator works as an LFO, level follower, midi/audio triggered ADSR enveloper, randomizer or pitch detector, or even a combination and can listen to the plugin’s side-chain.
• You can make the sound move in time, be less static and more interesting. You can make various parameters depend on the input (or the sidechain) level or even listen to the input pitch.

Adjustable Oscillator Shape Technology

• Every oscillator in MSoundFactory uses the most versatile oscillator algorithm on the market. It provides a mix of predefined oscillator shapes, custom waveforms edited using our MeldaProduction Envelope System (MES), a step-sequencer and several methods for algorithmic postprocessing.
• It also provides a harmonic mode, which lets you control the harmonic content instead of oscillator shape. This is especially useful for high-frequency oscillators.

Multiparameters

• MSoundFactory lets you control multiple parameters using a single so-called multiparameter. This may not only come handy for automation for example, but the multiparameters are very smart units and you can use them to smartly morph between banks of settings for example. All in the name of creativity!

Smart Randomization

Melda’s state of the art randomization system gives you complete control. You can randomize parameters in 3 ways:

• Complete full randomization of everything.
• Subtle small random changes to your current state.
• Smart randomization.

Melda’s smart randomization engine learns, using information based on existing presets to offer better values that will result in more successful changes. You can even lock certain parameters that you wish to be excluded from the randomization. This level of control can really help you out when you have a creative block and offer up fresh and inspiring ideas you may have never thought of.

Automatic Gain Compensation (AGC)

• Most plugins change loudness of the output audio, which makes browsing presets inconvenient, not mentioning randomization. MSoundFactory includes automatic gain compensation, which quickly adapts to current settings and ensures the output sounds as loud as the input. This even protects you from thinking that something sounds better in cases it is just louder.

Safety Limiter

• Some plugins can intensely increase gain when exposed to specific audio materials. MSoundFactory provides a safety brickwall limiter, which ensures the output stays below 0dB and prevents your equipment and your ears from potential danger automatically.

Sinc Interpolation

• MSoundFactory implements the most advanced interpolation technology to provide the best audio quality.

Adjustable Up-sampling 1x-16x

• Digital audio provides very superior audio quality compared to ancient analog gear, but there are problems too. The main problem is the aliasing, which may be noticeable, when using nonlinear processes such as compression or saturation. MSoundFactory includes both minimum-phase and high-quality linear-phase upsampling algorithms, which avoids the aliasing.

Synchronization to Host Tempo

• Every oscillator and modulator in the plugin can automatically synchronize to the host. But it can be out-of-sync if you want of course.

MIDI Controllers with MIDI Learn

• MSoundFactory contains a powerful MIDI processor, which listen to MIDI controllers and MIDI keyboard and control any parameters realtime.

64-bit Processing and an Unlimited Sampling Rate

• MSoundFactory provides the maximum audio quality you can get. It uses 64-bit audio processing and can handle any sampling rate. It does not make much sense to go over 192kHz, but if you think it is a good idea, the plugin can do that.

Extremely Fast, Optimized for Newest AVX2 and AVX512 Capable Processors

• Computers are now extremely fast, but the algorithms are more complex and projects bigger, so you still need to use the processing power with care. MSoundFactory uses the fastest algorithms, takes advantage of the newest processor capabilities, lets your GPU handle the graphics, and shares the resources with other MeldaProduction plugins. The plugin is among the fastest on the market, yet it provides the best possible audio quality.

Global Preset Management and Online Preset Exchange

• MSoundFactory presets are carefully stored in a system database and you can quickly access them from any project in any host. The plugin can automatically share your presets and download presets of other users from our servers. Melda are building a community and you can be a part of it!

Compare Multiple Settings

• A/B comparison is a widely used method to objectively hear the changes you are making to your audio and help you to make better decisions, non destructively.
• A to H Switching: Melda has taken this to the next level. Have up to 8 instances of the plugin, copy/paste the A to H slots and freely switch between them.
• A to D Morphing: You can also morph between the first 4 slots with an X-Y pad. Not sure which preset to choose? You could load 4 and find the perfect blend of all of them. Not sure if A or B sounds better? You might prefer an interpolated state somewhere between the two.
