Clearmountain’s Phases

Create your Own Phases, from Mellow to Madness – Authentic plugin emulations of Bob Clearmountain’s Vintage Analog Flanger & Phaser Rack Modules

The trippy, undulating sound of flanging and phasing debuted in the ‘60s and ‘70s with songs like Small Faces’ “Itchycoo Park,” Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir,” and Hendrix’s “Bold as Love.” And it’s made its mark on every decade since, playing key moments on tracks by David Bowie, Roxy Music, The Clash, The Cult, U2, Daft Punk, not to mention dozens of tracks by Van Halen.

Clearmountain’s Phases brings you the sounds of classic flanger and phaser processors used in mixing engineer Bob Clearmountain’s studio, meticulously modelling his rare, vintage flanger and phaser rack modules from the mid-seventies. The plugin adds Expanded settings modules, so you can replicate Bob’s advanced workflow, easily dialling in the distinct, engaging modulation effects heard on songs from the world’s most influential artists.

Clearmountain’s Favourite Flanger at your Fingertips

Originally created through a laborious process requiring two tape machines playing back the same material in sync, but with a slight varispeed on one of the machines, the Flanger effect required a lot of gear, setup and expertise to pull off. Clearmountain’s Phases brings Bob Clearmountain’s favourite hardware Flanger processor to your fingertips, with control over the original manual sweep, sweep oscillator and mix.

With Expanded controls including feedback, LFO Phase, high-pass filters, and polarity reverse controls, you can emulate workflows in the plugin that required external gear with the original modules. The true “zero crossing” Tape Flange mode reproduces the dramatic effect when two tape machines flange perfectly. You can even “swap out” the core bucket-brigade delay (BBD) chip to explore vastly greater sweep ranges. Finally, to really add the grit and flavour of the original hardware to your tracks, dial in your desired amount of distortion and aliasing.

It’s not just a Phase… It’s Feedback, LFO and Vintage Analog

The Phaser offers a gentler modulation that Bob uses to create the quintessential watery, undulating electric piano, the occasional psychedelic drum kit, and more extreme textures in combination with the flanger. You’ll find many of the same Original and Expanded controls as the flanger – feedback, LFO Phase, high-pass filters and polarity reverse controls – for a consistent user experience. With the Stages knob, you can reproduce the sonic characteristics of hardware phasers from stompbox favourites to vintage hardware units to modern plugins. Dial-in feedback to intensify the effect with added resonance, then adjust the Feedback Tap knob for even more sonic variations. Engage the Analog button to more closely model the original hardware’s feedback implementation. Finally, send the plugin back in time with the Age trimpot, to reproduce the mellowing effects of ageing hardware components.

Configuration for your Sonic Imagination

When Bob was looking to create a richer, more extreme texture, he’d send his tracks through both flanger and phaser modules, and you can do the same with the Module Config feature. Flange the phaser, phase the flanger, or apply both and mix – whatever achieves the sound in your imagination!

To add a swirling width that moves across the stereo soundstage, he’d patch in multiple modules, then set different sweep rates for the left and right sides of each module. Listen to Mick’s vocal on the Stones’ “Heaven” track, or Bowie’s “China Girl” recording to hear the result. You can recreate these unique sounds with the Module Config and Sweep Rate Select features.

Access Iconic Presets or Easily Dial-in your Own

When the Clearmountain name is on the box, rest assured that Bob himself pored over every detail, and that includes the presets you get with the plugin. You don’t need an engineering degree to get started – instead, look over the shoulder of a master mixer!

Bob has carefully created each preset based on specific instruments and processing from his extensive catalogue of timeless hit mixes. Want to experience the Stones “Heaven” vocal sound described above? Simply load the preset!

Once you’ve unlocked the secrets of the presets, you’ll find it surprisingly easy to conjure your own Phases, from mellow to madness!

Fazortan 2

Have you ever wondered where does that unique magical breeze so audible in most of JMJ’s tunes come from?

Fazortan 2 is the new incarnation of Controllable Space Phaser which is part of our SilverLine Collection. No need to say we didn’t cut much corners on quality and that robust, yearned by all – analog feel of the sound.

Total control over the Phase shifter provides you with adjust ability and allows to obtain the desired contour with high precision. Have you ever wondered where does that unique magical breeze so audible in most of Jean Michael Jarre’s tunes come from.

Surprisingly the backbone here isn’t the synth itself but the effect unit coupled with the synthesizer, saying more precisely – analog phaser of which our Fazortan 2 seems to be a fine equivalent.

Thanks to the analog modelling technique we were able to implement allpass filters comprising characteristics identical to its analog counterpart based on Operational Transconductance Amplifiers. Now in version 2 we’re even closer to the sound character the original hardware unit brings.

You can think about Fazortan 2 as of the exact copy of a retro phaser taken out from 70’s and redone to become a virtual unit. But being the same sounding unit that provides primal functionality and sound of the original is where similarities end and where limitless scope of plugin comes to play.

Bearing on mind only one Rate knob and a Color switch on the front panel of the real phaser device, Fazortan 2 from the first look at its GUI, presents itself as a completely new device that effectivelly expands capabilities of its origin.

Structure

Full control over two LFOs (waveform, rate and depth) controlling the unit and unlike the hardware unit Fazortan 2 LFO works in a various waveform modes: sinus, triangle, hyper-triangle and random (i.e. only triangle is available in original).

By using both LFOs simultaneously you’re now able to obtain result that owners of the hardware box could only dream about. Endless contour diversity stretches results from monotonous sluggish swing to become a gurgling scrumble, just by a slight re positioning of the the rate knob.

Additionally it is now possible to add consecutive all-pass stages as well as regulate the feedback effect. The amount of stages translates on how many humps and pits residues in the converted sound spectrum while feedback parameter value implies severity of these irregularities. Feedback knob gives you sounds from soft to rapid and drilling.

To visually display how it works consider a white noise as an input signal. Moving the feedback knob will start to morph incoming “sea waves” reminiscent noise into “windy” whizz. Additionally each lfo can be modified by altering its respective phase giving as a result an improved panning of the incoming signal.

Who would like to use it?

The best way to judge Fazortan 2 is to listen to it. You’re welcome to our mp3 presentation. We made every effort to make sure Fazortan will fulfill all expectations one could have before buying an analog phaser unit.

Especially guitarists and retro keyboard players may appreciate possibility to  adjust it so it can emulate the rotary speaker, what along with its rich and lush sound, completes satisfactory every audio chain.

Of course given much more maneuverability it is a fine fx unit to be adapted regardless of genre.

Clockworks Bundle

8 Iconic Plug-ins

Rewind time with an iconic collection of Eventide studio classics

In 1971, in a New York City basement, Eventide Clockworks revolutionized the audio industry by creating the world’s first studio effects processor–the Instant Phaser and pro audio’s first digital device, the Digital Delay Line. Over the course of the following decade, Eventide would release the world’s first Harmonizer®, the H910, along with the other industry firsts: Omnipressor®, Instant Flanger, H949, and SP2016.

Now, producers and engineers can evoke the classic effects heard on countless records from the last 50 years with the Clockworks Bundle. Painstakingly modelling every aspect of these hardware units was neither quick nor easy but now the must-have sonic beauty of these classic boxes is available for use with your favourite DAW live or in the studio.

Instant Phaser Mk II

The Instant Phaser was the world’s first studio phaser and the first rack mount effects unit, period. Originally intended to make the painstaking task of tape flanging quick and easy, engineers and producers would use it for smooth, transparent modulation and pleasing stereo decorrelation. It used analogue all-pass filters to mimic the effect achieved by time delay resulting in a modulation effect all its own. Experience all of its analogue charm with the Instant Phaser Mk II plugin and add “Age” to taste.

Features

  • Add Age for component drift and electrical leakage in your phaser.
  • Offers three different flavours of phasing with the Mode switch: Shallow, Deep, and Wide.
  • Utilize one of four distinct methods to control the phasing.
  • Depth allows you to combine the phased signal with the dry signal.
  • Added Side Chain function allows you to trigger the Envelope Follower from a separate source in the mix for inter-track mingling.
  • Exercise total control of the Oscillator with Sync and Retrig controls.
  • Use Feedback control for a more pronounced sound.
  • Includes standard gain input and output.

Instant Flanger Mk II

The Instant Flanger utilized newfangled bucket brigade ICs for swept delay resulting in a ‘true’, time-based, emulation of tape flanging. Whereas the Instant Phaser offered several methods of controlling modulation, the Instant Flanger allowed engineers to combine these controls. The result, more control layers and less predictable sweeps. Explore vintage modulation sweetness with the Instant Flanger Mk II.

Features

  • Depth controls the intensity of the effect. 100% adds the delayed signal to the dry signal. -100 % subtracts the dry signal from the delayed signal.
  • Three distinct flavours of flanging. Set the Mode switch for Shallow, Deep or Wide.
  • Manual control allows you to control the ‘comb’ effect by turning the Big Knob.
  • Oscillator drives the flanging at a user-defined rate.
  • Envelope Follower drives the flanging based on the signal’s amplitude.
  • Remote maps the flanging control to a mod wheel for tactile manipulation.
  • Bounce mimics the distinctive effect of the tape machine’s capstan motor “hunting” for its proper speed when the engineer’s thumb was lifted from the tape reel flange.
  • “Side Chain” allows for triggering the Envelope Follower from any source in the mix for inter-track mingling.
  • Exercise total control of the Oscillator with Sync and Retrig.
  • Tame the intensity by removing low frequencies from the flanged signal with the Low Cut control.

Omnipressor

The Omnipressor, released in 1974, set the stage as the first dynamics effects processor, introducing the concepts of infinite compression, dynamic reversal, and side-chaining. The flexible nature makes the Omnipressor plugin a must-have, with options to control all aspects of dynamic modification.

Features

  • Dynamics processing for creating otherworldly sounds.
  • Gating, expansion, compression, limiting, and Dynamic Reversal.
  • An intuitive interface makes it simple to operate with the use of a Function dial.

H910 Harmonizer

The H910 Harmonizer was the world’s first digital effects unit. With its unique combinations of pitch shifting, feedback, modulation and delay, it was a huge hit across studios worldwide. Thickening snares, guitars and vocals are H910’s bread and butter, but robot sounds and gritty octaves are just as easily dialed in. The bundle includes H910 Dual.

Features

  • NEW Keyboard and MIDI mapping – The original H910 featured a keyboard remote control which was used live by several artists including Elton John. With the H910 plug-in you can easily use MIDI to control pitch and harmonization in real-time.
  • NEW Envelope Follower – An envelope follower has also been implemented in this latest release. Engineers and producers discovered that sending a control voltage to the hardware H910 could be used to slightly (or massively) vary the pitch, creating entirely new sounds. The built-in envelope follower makes exploring these possibilities easy.
  • NEW OUT2 Delay Group – adds inspiring attributes to your sound.
  • True analogue modelling of highly nonlinear electronics for faithful reproduction of the original H910’s juicyness and grit.
  • Perform perfect pitch changes controlled manually, via MIDI or with Anti-Feedback.
  • Anti-Feedback modulates the pitch around unity for a subtle or wild effect.
  • Optional “glitching” of original H910 hardware to create unpredictable sounds as it alters the pitch.
  • Modify pitch by musical intervals (diatonic) to harmonize vocals or solo instruments.
  • Delay rhythms and melodies to create everything from slap-back echoes to feedback chaos.
  • Create colourful, unique sound effects and drones through self-oscillation.
  • Individually control delay outputs and dry/wet mix.
  • Mix Lock allows for scrolling through presets or settings while keeping the dry/wet mix constant.

BONUS: H910 Dual

  • H910 Dual recreates two H910 units running in parallel to create doubling effects and other unique sounds.
  • H910 Dual easily fattens and thickens instruments when assigning opposite pitch ratios.
  • H910 Dual Stereo (cross-unit) Feedback can cause the incoming signal to shift up and then down continuously.

SP2016 Reverb

In 1981, the SP2016 was released and was the world’s first programmable effects processor featuring ROM chips that “plugged in” under the hood making it possible to add new effects in the field. While it was not a Clockworks effects unit, the SP2016 earned its spot on this roster as it marks the opening chapter of modern Eventide effects processors, with the H9000 its current incarnation. The SP2016 Reverb plug-in includes modern and vintage versions of its signature Stereo Room, Room, and Hi-Density Plate.

Features

  • Room – Your basic no-nonsense, no-frills ambient “room.” It’s a mono effect with stereo outputs. The extreme Pre-Delay range makes it possible to use this effect for reverberant doubling and single echoes.
  • Stereo Room – Recreates the ambience of a large concert hall, with very clear, natural reverberation. It’s characteristically natural and shines on instruments where a natural sound is a desire – like vocals, drums, acoustic guitar, strings, and horns
  • Hi-Density Plate – Plate-type reverb with dual pickups simulating the effect of a bigger, heavier plate. This reverb allows you to make vocals, guitars and percussive instruments appear much bigger and brighter than they actually are.
  • Control the structure of the reverb by fine-tuning the controls – including PreDelay, Decay, Position and Diffusion. The EQ section allows for simple high and low filtering of the reverb with adjustable filter ranges. The low filter can be used to cut OR boost at the specified frequency.
  • Boasts a variety of artist presets including some by Dave Pensado, Richard Devine, Joe Chiccarelli, Sasha, George Massenberg, The Butcher Bros., Buda and Grandz, and more.

H949 Harmonizer

In 1977, Eventide released the H949, standing on the shoulders of the H910 as the second in Eventide’s family of Harmonizers. It introduced a formal micro pitch-shifting mode, which is a great sound for lead guitar virtuosos. It also had the first Reverse delays and introduced a Random pitch mode, which works great as an automatic double-track for guitars and vocals. And, the H949 conquered the ‘glitch’ by using advanced autocorrelation techniques. The bundle includes H949 Dual.

Moogerfooger MF-103S 12 Stage Phaser

THE MF-103S 12-STAGE PHASER IS A RE-INVENTION OF MOOG MUSIC’S CLASSIC MF-103 ANALOG EFFECTS PEDAL.   The MF-103 12-Stage Phaser, introduced in 1999, contained two complete modular functions: a 6-stage/12-stage voltage-controlled Phaser and a voltage-controlled wide-range Low Frequency Oscillator (LFO). Designed by Bob Moog and his engineering team, the MF-103 was a direct descendant of the original Moog modular synthesizers, adapted to process, modulate, and play with inputs ranging from guitar, voice, and synthesizer to any imaginable audio source. The MF-103 Stage Phaser has been meticulously recreated as the MF-103S, capturing not only the psychedelic enveloping sound of the original, but also the organic way in which the parameters interact to create a musical playing experience. With CV interconnectivity, stereo functionality, an extended feature set, the ability to run multiple instances, and presets, the MF-103S plug-in further tailors the classic Moogerfooger functionality to the modern digital creator.

MF-103S EXPANDS ON CLASSIC MOOGERFOOGER PEDAL

The MF-103S also introduces unique features not seen on the hardware instrument, including: OUTPUT MODE recreates the original MF-103’s MAIN and AUX outputs and allows you to route those in STEREO configurations. LFO TYPE switches between the MONO LFO of the original or creates a second inverted LFO for STEREO modulation. The MF-103S 12-Stage Phaser offers CV Inputs for LFO Rate, LFO Amount, Resonance, Phaser Sweep, and a second Sweep input to modulate the two sections of six stages independently, as well as the capability to attenuate or soften these modulations.

THE SOUNDS OF THE MF-103S 12-STAGE PHASER EFFECT

The Moogerfooger Effects Plug-ins range from clean filtering to wildly experimental modulation designed to manipulate, enhance, and fully transform any sound. Each with its own distinct identity, these effects are designed to work perfectly alongside one another in your audio chain.
  • MacOS 10.13 or newer
  • Windows 10 or newer
  • VST3/AU/AAX formats supported
  • Note: This product supports both iLok USB and iLok Cloud activation. You will need a free iLok account, and either a physical iLok USB key OR an active internet connection (to start an iLok Cloud Session).

Instant Phaser Mk II

Own the First Studio Phaser

Released in 1971, the Eventide Instant Phaser began the studio effects revolution by successfully simulating tape flanging, an effect that’s been at the core of legendary albums for the last five decades.

Reminisce back to a phaser with analog personality, smooth modulations, and inherent musicality. Outfitted with a complete host of control options, the Instant Phaser Mk II is out of the rack and into your plugin arsenal. This new emulation of the classic effect accomplishes the same legendary sound notably used on hits like Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir” and “Presence”. The capabilities have been expanded, and now you can even take your phaser on an excursion from the 70s far into the future with the delightfully characteristic “Age” knob.

New Age, Old Age, and Everything in Between

As hardware phase-shift networks get older, they don’t line up as well as they used to, revealing their analog character. The resulting effect is less exact, for tracks where imprecise nature is desired. While component drift and unintentional effects are usually omitted in hardware emulation, we’ve decided to put the ball in your court. For a phasing sound that’s straight out of the factory, set Age to 0%. To capture the sound of the same phaser 47 years later (present-day), set Age to 25%. The remaining 75% allows you to discover the Instant Phaser among the wreckage of a dilapidated studio hundreds of years from now and check it out on your new single.

Change the Feel, Switch the Mode

The Instant Phaser Mk II offers three different sonic characteristics that change the amount of phase-shift sections, simply labeled “Shallow”, “Deep”, and “Wide”. When “Wide” is selected, the Instant Phaser Mk II gives you a different amount of phase-shifting on both right and left channels, resulting in a slightly different effect in each ear. You can use this to turn flat mono guitars into huge stereo leads, or make your single-channel synthesizer fill out the sides of your mix.

Different Ways to Phase

The Instant Phaser allows four distinct methods to control the phasing:

  • Manual allows precise automation of the phasing.
  • Oscillator modulates the phasing at a constant rate that you decide.
  • Envelope changes the phase whenever your signal passes the specified threshold. The plugin accepts a side chain input for this control method.
  • Remote maps the phasing control to a mod wheel for tactile manipulation.

MAIN FEATURES

  • Add Age for component drift and electrical leakage in your phaser
  • Offers three different flavors of phasing with the Mode switch: Shallow, Deep, and Wide
  • Utilize one of four distinct methods to control the phasing
  • Depth allows you to combine the phased signal with the dry signal

MAutoAlign

MAutoAlign solves problems with phase cancellations when recording a single instrument using multiple microphones. Normally engineers have to search for ideal delays and potentially invert phases manually.

But now all you need to do is to place MAutoAlign to all tracks you want to fix, start playback and press Analyze button in one of them. The plugin will analyze all tracks and after a few seconds you are finished!

Features

  • Unique multitrack design – the plugin does not need any advanced techniques with sidechains etc. All you need is to do is to place one instance to each track. These will automatically talk to each other and perform the analysis without need for your interaction.
  • Completely transparent processing – the plugin only delays each track and potentially inverts phase of some of them. But performs no filtering or any other advanced processing which alters the signal.
  • Advanced metering system – provided meters display frequency cancellations useful to judge how much of the signal is lost when mixing the tracks together.
  • Up to 8 channels surround processing – our plugins can handle not only mono and stereo signals, but also up to 8 channels of surround audio, making them ideal for audio production for movies, games etc.
  • Extremely advanced and easy-to-use user interface – our products are always designed to enhance the workflow. You can easily change all values, fine-tune each control in multiple ways. Easy orientation in a standardized GUI, textual editing and smooth visualization with almost unlimited zooming are standard in all of our plugins. Moreover our plugins are the world first (and still the only ones), which support resizable and stylable GUI’s.
  • MIDI controllers with MIDI learn – you can map any parameter to any MIDI controller or MIDI keyboard and control it realtime or record and automate it.
  • Very fast, optimized for SSE and SSE2 processors.
  • Fully automatable.

Windows

  • Windows Vista / 7 / 8 / 10 (32-bit or 64-bit)
  • VST / VST3 / AAX compatible host (32-bit or 64-bit)
  • Intel/AMD processor with SSE2 support
  • Always use 32-bit plugins in 32-bit hosts, or 64-bit plugins in 64-bit hosts!

64-bit plugins can’t work in 32-bit hosts even if the operating system is 64-bit. Do NOT use 32-bit plugins in 64-bit hosts. They would have to be bridged and can become slow and unstable

SigMod

Instantly enhance the functionality of your plug-ins and DAW with eleven different signal modification units. Explore new creative possibilities and quickly add missing features.

Each module can easily be inserted, swapped and moved around making new options to correct, convert or tweak your audio.

With eleven single-process modules, SigMod contains many useful, creative functions which are unobtainable or otherwise difficult to engage. Combine these single-process modules in any order to design the precise routing you require. Auto-resizing keeps the signal flow and functionality clear at all times.

Full List of Modules:

  • Mid/Side
  • Protect
  • Mono
  • Switch
  • Delay
  • Phase
  • Trim
  • DC offset
  • Tap
  • Mute/Solo
  • Crossover

For Your Plugins

Add mid/side functionality to classic stereo compressor and EQ emulations, or get creative with mid/side delays, distortion and many other effects by inserting the mid/side encoder/decoder either side of any left/right plug-in instance.

Insert the Protect unit across your output bus and this safety module will automatically cut in to prevent bursts of noise or feedback howls due to system errors, saving both your nerves and your speakers.

Manual or auto reset options give you the level of protection you need.

Want to try some parallel processing? Drop in the Tap module and you are good to go. Use the Crossover module to split the highs from the lows to apply different effects to different frequency ranges – great for avoiding muddying up the low frequencies or getting creative with automation and sweep effects.

For Your Daw

Several of SigMod’s modules offer easy access to functionality which is either missing from certain DAWs, or at least complicated to access natively. Solo/mute or trim the left and right sides of a stereo signal independently, or easily flip the stereo image in one click. Quickly detect and correct DC offset to retain valuable headroom.

How does your mix sound in mono? Think about how many listeners will be using a phone or a DAB radio with one speaker – the Mono module switches your signal from stereo to mono in one click.

You can also check the phase relationship between your left and right channels with the Phase module.

Available formats We support AAX, VST, AU and AudioSuite in both 64-bit and 32-bit versions. RTAS is also available as 32-bit only. Minimum System Specification

Whirl v2

Whirl is a barber-pole phaser.

It is based on a Bode frequency shifter model with a feedback line, an algorithm which creates unique spectrum peaks and notches that move upwards or downwards in a seemingly endless fashion – with one spectrum sweep smoothly morphing into the next one, like an audible illusion.

Whirl features up to three fully synchronized barber-pole phaser stages: this allows you to control how gentle or dramatic the effect is.

At its most extreme settings, Whirl is capable of deeply resonant filtering: it almost individually suppresses and accentuates different frequency harmonics.

By design, the spectrum sweep frequency is bipolar – and can go from downwards to upwards motion and back completely seamlessly.

SOUND ENGINE

  • Barber-pole phaser based on Bode frequency shifter, with up to three sequential stages and progressive feedback
  • Variable stereo phase offset
  • Lag filters on all continuous parameters for smooth, click-free adjustment
  • Supports mono › mono, mono › stereo, and stereo › stereo channel configurations

GRAPHIC INTERFACE

  • Color-coded graphic elements
  • Consistent name, mapping, value, and unit implemented for all parameters in both graphic user interface and host control/automation
  • Built-in preset management functions
  • Supports window size scaling up to 200%

New in Version 2.10

  • Added ability to set the barber-pole phaser frequency as a host tempo fraction (adjustable from 1/16th note to 16 bars), with phase motion also synchronized to the transport location
  • Extended the Stereo parameter range into the negative values to allow the relative phaser motion in the right channel to supersede the left channel – and vice versa
  • New, more modern and future-proof preset manager backend
  • Built against the newer JUCE 7 framework
  • 64-bit Mac computer with Intel or Apple processor, running macOS 10.9 or later, plus a host application with support for AU, AAX, or VST3 plugins
  • 64-bit PC computer with x86 processor, running Windows 8.1 or later, plus a host application with support for AAX or VST3 plugins

MPhaserMB

MPhaserMB is a powerful multiband phaser which allows you to deftly manipulate its shape.

Its pristine audio quality and multiband core make it perfect for any track you are working on. From guitars to keys to drums, you can even use it subtly on master tracks.

Features

  • Dual user interface – the plugin is not only extremely versatile, but also quick and easy-to-use thanks to 2 graphical user interfaces. First there is a simple default one with several predefined modes, but just a few controls, which lets you start quickly and easily without any knowledge. All you need to do is choose what you want and use a few knobs. And the plugins also has an advanced mode, which provides all the extreme features the plugin offers.
  • 1-6 fully configurable independent bands built on 3 perfectly transparent crossover algorithms (analog, linear-phase and hybrid) with fully adjustable limits and input gains. Includes peak meters for all bands and the master.
  • Continuously adjustable oscillator shape – every oscillator in our plugins is defined by a mix of predefined oscillator shapes, custom waveforms edited using our MeldaProduction Envelope System (MES), step-sequencer and several methods for algorithmic postprocessing. It is the most advanced approach for defining oscillator shapes.
  • 4 global modulators – in each instance you can have up to 4 fully-featured modulators that can modulate any set of parameters including other modulators! In this way you can make the sound move in time, be less static and more interesting. Each modulator works as LFO, follower, midi/audio triggered ADSR envelopes, a pitch detector or even a combination.
  • Up to 8 channels surround processing – our plugins can handle not only mono and stereo signals, but also up to 8 channels of surround audio, making them ideal for audio production for movies, games etc.
  • Full randomization – using a single button you can generate completely new settings. By clicking the button you can walk through the billions of possible settings and find the best one for you! And if that’s too much, you can just hold ctrl and MPhaserMB will only slightly modify existing settings.
  • Adjustable up-sampling 1x-16x to minimize aliasing and get an even clearer sound.
  • Automatic synchronization to host tempo – every oscillator and modulator in the plugin can automatically synchronize to the host providing as natural a sound as possible while not offending other tracks.
  • MIDI controllers with MIDI learn – you can map any parameter to any MIDI controller or MIDI keyboard and control it realtime or record and automate it.
  • Very fast, optimized for SSE and SSE2 processors.
  • Global preset management and online preset exchange – using a title button you can save your settings (which are shared on the computer) so you can easily access these in other songs. Moreover all plugins can automatically share your presets and download presets of other users from our servers (if this feature is enabled). We are building a community and you can be a part of it!

MAC

  • Mac OS X (10.7 and newer, 32-bit or 64-bit)
  • VST / VST3 / AU / AAX compatible host (32-bit or 64-bit)
  • Intel/AMD processor with SSE2 support

AU note: in some hosts, the GUI is not shown for the first time, if so, then please just restart the host.
