MangledVerb

Good Verb Gone Bad

MangledVerb™ is a unique effect combining reverb and distortion. Ported directly from the award-winning H9 Harmonizer®, MangledVerb is capable of creating lush reverbs, ripping distortion leads and sound-sculpting musical chaos. Guitarists have used it for years to create signature sounds and now you can have it in your favourite DAW.

MangledVerb starts with a variable pre-delay which feeds a stereo reverb into a complex distortion effect. Sonically it can range from the light friction of a bow scraping a cello string to the mayhem of a caged beast being poked with a red hot flounder.

Tweak it Live

Like all the H9 Signature Series plug-ins, MangledVerb excels in live situations. The Ribbon is an innovative control which allows you to program two settings for any combination of the controls and seamlessly transition between them. The programmable HotSwitch allows you to instantly jump to an alternate setting at the push of a button. This combination of controls brings you as close as possible to the experience of tweaking real hardware.

PSP 2445 EMT

PSP 2445 EMT is a reverb processor plug-in inspired by two legendary early digital age reverberators: the EMT® 244 and the EMT® 245.

PSP thoroughly researched how to bring the specific features of those simple, yet very musical sounding reverbs to life as a plug-in.

We then improved from the originals with a handy set of parameters to control details of the sound and mix the reverb not available in the original hardware. PSP 2445 is capable of processing using one selected engine or both of them simultaneously.

The reverb algorithms implemented in PSP 2445 are based on original algorithms designed by Dr. Barry Blesser (one of the grandfathers of the digital audio revolution). Thanks to Dr. Barry’s extensive consultation and support, our algorithms sound as good as the originals and plug-in could be officially endorsed by EMT Studiotechnik GmbH.

Luminance v2

Shimmer Reverb

Luminance is a plugin for creating “shimmer reverb” effects – unreal acoustic space simulations which gradually pitch-shift the reverberation tail upwards or downwards. It is a novel take on this highly coveted effect, based on a modern feedback delay network design with a built-in granular pitch shifter, and featuring many original tricks such as alternating-phase time scale modulation.

Thanks to the unique, meticulously executed tuning of its individual components, Luminance possesses a fresh and highly musical character: it smoothly follows the original melodic content and creates a gorgeously beautiful background sound layer reminiscent of a dreamy symphony of strings or pipe organs – with organic depth and expansive stereo field.

MAIN FEATURES

Sound Engine

  • Reverb engine based on 8×8 feedback delay network with spline interpolation and smoothly variable time scale
  • Granular pitch shifter and two-pole low-pass filter for shimmer effect shaping
  • Sine generator for time scale modulation, with unique alternating-polarity routing
  • Additional pre-delay stage
  • Lag filters on all continuous parameters for smooth, click-free adjustment
  • Supports mono › mono, mono › stereo, and stereo › stereo channel configurations

Graphic Interface

  • Colour-coded graphic elements
  • Consistent name, mapping, value, and unit implemented for all parameters in both graphic user interface and host control/automation
  • Built-in preset management functions
  • Supports window size scaling up to 200%
  • 64-bit Mac computer with Intel or Apple processor, running macOS 10.9 or later, plus a host application with support for AU, AAX, or VST3 plugins
  • 64-bit PC computer with x86 processor, running Windows 8.1 or later, plus a host application with support for AAX or VST3 plugins

Tverb

The Sound of a Legend

Tverb was developed in collaboration with legendary producer, engineer and musician, Tony Visconti. The plug-in was inspired by the iconic sound of the title track of David Bowie’s twelfth studio album, Heroes, recorded in August 1977 in the shadow of the Berlin Wall.

With only one track left for lead vocals, Visconti was able to harness the power of Bowie’s voice by inventing a stunning recording technique. This technique is the foundation of Tverb.

Visconti set up three microphones in the hall of Berlin’s Hansa Studios, the first for Bowie to sing directly into, a second positioned about 15 feet away and the third further back in the hall.

Visconti placed gates on the second and third microphones set to open as Bowie sang louder and louder.

Signature Techniques

Tverb integrates three completely independent lush reverbs with compression and selectable polar patterns on microphone 1 and adjustable gates on microphones 2 and 3. Tverb recreates Visconti’s iconic effect as a starting point while adding features that enable new soundscapes and effects. The use of stereo microphones enhances the effect and DAW automation can be used to program the microphones to wander around the hall as the track plays.

Inspiration of the Past/Power of the Future

Tverb was designed with a new level of efficiency for plug-ins.

It captures the rich ambience of Hansa’s studio 2, the historic Meistersaal concert hall, without burdening your DAW’s CPU. Tverb features three independent reverbs, with the ability for the two far microphones to be convincingly placed anywhere in the hall.

MAIN FEATURES

  • 2 Moveable microphones to adjust reverb size and tone
  • Adjustable polar patterns for microphone 1 to adjust the amount of ambient room tone
  • Custom Eventide reverb algorithm with EQ, diffusion, and decay control
  • Compressor module on microphone 1, just as Visconti had in the original session
  • 2 Linkable post-reverb gate modules with control of when the gates close, the speed at which they close and the length of time they are forced to stay open
  • Console (inspired by the one used in the session and with Visconti’s “grease pencil” labelling) provides post-reverb channel processing for each individual mic and the master
  • Room mixer module alters the sound of the room itself with control over decay, diffusion and frequency attenuation
  • Signal inversion buttons to remove (or create) phase cancellation
  • Mix Lock allows for scrolling through presets or settings while keeping the wet/dry mix constant
  • Complete automation support

Micro Digital Reverberator

Nerdy. Easy. Super Cool.

The Micro Digital Reverberator combines killer reverb and delay effects with a super friendly user interface and controls. Pop it on an insert, pick a preset, and go. Drums? Vocals? Synths? Guitars? This little plugin has you covered.

Our MDR has the sounds of the first generations of budget reverbs that took over project studios in the late 1980s. In a few years, these units were commonplace in major recording studios and all over many of your favorite records.

Don’t let the simple interface fool you: this thing sounds amazing, with tight small rooms, huge plates and halls, gates and reverse reverbs, and some effects that can only be found on the MDR.

Machine 1

Machine 1 is a simulation of a very popular 16 bit, 1/3 rack size digital reverberator that was introduced in 1986. Although it has a limited amount of sounds, they are carefully designed and sound great. You still see this unit in guitar racks and studios all over the world.

Machine 2

Machine 2 is a simulation of the second-generation, full-rack size digital reverberator. This unit has lots of presets, lots of useful sounds, and some one-off special effects which can only be found on this particular unit.

Nerdy on the Back Side

The Micro Digital Reverberator has a few tweaks on the other side that let you craft frequency response, oversampling and GUI performance. There’s also a super effective stereo widener tucked in back there, for those times you want the effect all around the music and the listener.

Supported Plugin Formats

  • Intel Mac 64bit: VST3, AU, AAX
  • Windows 64bit: VST3, AAX

Licensing

  • iLok dongle, iLok Cloud, iLOK Sytem/Machine Authorization
  • 64 bit DAW support only

  • 4GB of RAM

Venom

Spectral Shifting

When reverb and delay just aren’t enough, reach for Venom. This powerful spectral processing plug-in twists raw audio into many types of sounds from subtle granular movements to unrecognisable soundscapes. This makes Venom an incredibly versatile tool for sound designers, musicians, EDM producers and anyone who needs other-worldly transformations.

Explore the myriad of possibilities by using the included presets, then dive deeper with the hot-swappable effects chain, granular sizes and advanced tone shaping. Every experiment with Venom will yield sonic surprises; creating expansive reverbs, harmonic excitement, frozen spectral tones and completely unique ambiences.

Two stage processing

Venom processes audio in two stages: Firstly a ‘freeze’ stage captures and accumulates a snapshot of the incoming sound, applying the audio effects to the continuously and creating feedback. This causes the output signal to change over time (like the reverb tail of an echo). The subsequent direct output stage applies a user-defined spectral operation to the signal.

Seven transformations

The 7 creative audio effects shape all sorts of spectral processing: Focus, Feaze, Decay & Damping for the creation of unusual, beautiful sounding ambiences. Mirror, Pitch & Slope to generate experimental spectral transformations. Any combination of these is possible for other unique soundscapes.

Hot-swappable FX

The user interface of Venom is completely modular: Drag an individual effect into the desired position in the processing chain to define the order of effects processing.

Live or Studio

Venom comes with multi-core support to prevent any glitches and audio dropouts. It also features user-controllable parameters for various aspects of spectral resolution that allow you to find the best settings for any environment; in the studio, on the road, or in a live setting.

Power

The Venom logo acts as a bypass control for the whole plugin, and is smoothed to be click and pop free for unhindered A/B testing. Use it to swap between your original audio and the Venom transformations.

Presets

A range of factory presets are designed to get you up and running quickly, with tailored settings for many types of special FX and spectral shaping. These are all easily accessible from the menu and of course, you can save your own settings as user presets too.

Let Venom inspire you to create unique sounds that you never thought possible – all with just a few clicks. W. A. Production are real-life producers making creative plugins to help you achieve studio quality processing quickly and easily. Enjoy!

Stop muddy mixes before they happen with a Masking Meter that communicates with other iZotope plug-ins (via Inter-Plugin Communication) to show you where your reverb is masking other tracks, helping you keep track of reverb build-up in your mix.

  • Use Dry vs. Wet mode to view masking over your dry track. Or, select another compatible iZotope plug-in to check masking on other tracks in the mix.
  • Works with other compatible iZotope plug-ins like Neutron 3, Nectar 3 Plus, VocalSynth 2, and Relay.

Smooth, Pre-Delay, & Mixing Controls

Neoverb’s Input/Output (I/O) panel gives you more ways to mix reverb. Soften the transients of the audio entering Neoverb with the Smooth control to keep your reverb sounding even, control Pre-Delay to add depth or or a sense of distance, and create a natural blend with the Dry/Wet and Level slider.

  • Based on transient shaping technology, the Smooth slider lets you easily tame sharp, percussive sources so they don’t create unatural results in your reverb.
  • A global Pre-Delay lets you control the distance of your reverb reflection, letting you create a sense of space without resorting to longer reverb tails.
  • Create a natural balance of reverb and dry signal with Dry/Wet and Level controls.

Mod Pad

Add subtle animation to your reverb with a Mod pad, offering two modes for both subtle and creative reverb modulation. Keep the Mod on low settings to make longer reverb tails feel more natural, or increase the setting (up to 125%) for more intense creative effects.

  • An intuitive X/Y Pad helps you quickly dial in the right setting
  • Pitch mode creates a subtle pitch shift, similar to a Doppler-effect.
  • Random (‘RandomFat’) mode produces a randomized modulation effect akin to a classic chorus.

MagicVerb

MagicVerb is the latest result of the collaboration between MagicDeathEye aka Ian Sefchick and DDMF.

This journey was a little more creative as we weren’t modeling a piece of hardware. We were modeling spaces and experimenting with EQ and texture. Ian spent a decade working at a studio known for its chambers and that dark beautiful feeling of space was always with him when creating these models.

We had a lot of his engineer and producer buddies check em’ out and used their feedback to tighten everything up.

We also put a really cool plate and model of a classic digital reverb in there as well.

There’s nothing new under the sun and this has all been done before, so the objective was to make a reverb plugin as useful as the Magic Death Eye compressor plugins. A real utility reverb that works on everything and is super easy to operate.

A reverb with depth, texture, and lots of love. A MagicVerb!

  • Available in 32 and 64 bit format, as a VST, VST3, AU and AAX plugin.
  • Windows users will need version 10 – 64 bit
  • Mac OSX 10.7 or higher is required. Intel and Apple Silicon are both supported

With Ensemble, you get lush reverb tails that sound elegant and classy even on the longest decay settings.

Sonsig Rev-A Is Unlike Any Reverb You’ve Heard Before

The magic behind the sound of Sonsig Rev-A is a proprietary new breakthrough algorithm technology – Psychoacoustic Spatial Alignment (PSA).

This unprecedented “next-generation” algorithmic process uses psychoacoustics-based multiplex component alignment to create distinctive, smooth, rich reverb effects never before possible in a reverb effect.

The phasing, filtering, diffusion and compound modulation of each and every echo fragment in every reverb tail is continuously and dynamically aligned according to a strict and complex psychoacoustic model.

The result is a revolutionary reverb that behaves like an instrument that changes its behavior and feel over time. You not only get the beautiful decay of lush reverb tails, but you also reap the benefits of having classic and modern algorithmic reverb parameters for fine-tuning in ways never before possible.

With Sonsig Rev-A, your reverbs will always sound alive and vibrant, with sweet-sounding spaciousness.

Crystalline

CHASING ‘THE PERFECT ARTIFICIAL SPACE’

When we’re talking reverbs, there are two fundamental philosophies: One tries to mimic the sound of a real physical space – while the other seeks to create an artificial space from an algorithm, free from the constraints of the natural world. The idea of an algorithmic reverb was first conceived in the 1960s – and evolved over the following decades, redefining the sound of modern music with every new technology leap (and improved memory chip). All your favorite albums from the 1980s and after most likely relied on algorithmic/artificial reverbs to get a big and polished sound.

Crystalline follows in the tradition of the classic algorithmic reverbs, but adds new features and higher fidelity thanks to modern computer power. It is meant to sound unreal – in the most positive sense of the word. Its rooms and halls won’t sound anything like those in your house – but closer to those of your dreams!

MAKE SPACE FOR LUSHNESS

  • Crystalline is a state-of-the-art reverb plugin with a pristine and modern sound
  • Gives you unprecedented creative control to shape your reflections
  • Lets you sync reverb start and decay times to your song’s tempo
  • An evolution of classic 20th century studio reverbs – fully upgraded for today

A STUDIO REVERB FOR THE CURRENT ERA

A ‘perfect algorithmic reverb’ is often considered the holy grail of digital audio effects. In fact, the idea can be traced all the way back to research papers from the 1960s. Throughout the 20th century, algorithmic reverbs evolved thanks to companies like EMT and Lexicon. But scarce computing power generally forced manufacturers to work within limited constraints.

Fast forward, and we now have the resources to do things that couldn’t be done during the golden age of studio reverbs. Both in terms of sheer sound quality. But also in terms of adding creative features that weren’t possible in the hardware days.

Crystalline stands on the shoulders of 60 years of chasing ‘the holy grail of DSP’. We’ve asked ourselves what the pioneers of legendary digital reverbs would have done if they had the resources we have today. And then we’ve made exactly that plugin. With all the bells and whistles a modern engineer would need.

FEATURES

BPM-synced start and end times: Crystalline lets you hard-sync the reverb attack and decay time to your DAW’s tempo. This will generally result in cleaner mixes where the reflections are naturally in sync with the music. Prefer the classic way? Just hit the “Sync/MS” switch and Crystalline lets you set pre-delay and decay times in milliseconds instead.

Reflections Section:

  • “Size” lets you set the room size from tiny to large. This control is detached from the “Length” control, meaning you can get any size/length combination you want, including esoteric settings like huge spaces with very short tails or tiny spaces with very long tails.
  • “Sparkle” emphasizes high frequencies inside the reverb algorithm. This generates reflections that are naturally brighter, which will help you achieve that extra shine on vocals or snares.
  • “Width” lets you set the stereo image of the reverb from mono to wide – and even further to extra wide.

Depth Section:

  • “Resolution” sets the complexity of the algorithm from ‘basic’ to ‘pristine’. More complex settings will give you an ultra-clean reverb response, free of metallic artifacts. But this comes at a higher CPU load. The ‘Basic’ setting will give you an efficient CPU performance, without compromising the sound noticeably.
  • “Modulation” creates pitch variations inside the reverb algorithm. This results in a richer sound that works especially well to fatten up synths, guitars and vocals.
  • “Shimmer” makes the high frequencies of the reverb tail decay slower than the rest of the spectrum, giving the reflections an ‘angelic halo’ effect. You can set the frequency cutoff point as well as the multiplier effect, which controls how much longer it takes for the higher frequencies to decay. Please note that if Shimmer is active, the high frequencies will decay later than your specified reverb “End Time” (either at 2x, 4x or 6x the length).

Clean-Up Section:

  • “Damping” is a dual filter control that lets you remove high and low frequency content from the reverb reflections. This control offers a fast way to get rid of clutter and muddiness in your mixes.
  • “Sides” is a high-pass filter that removes stereo information from the low end of the reverb, while keeping the mono-information intact. This is especially helpful for creating wide vocal or lead instrument reflections without muddying-up your low end.
  • “Gate” lets you instantly recreate the classic 1980s gated reverb sound. The gate offers ‘threshold’ and ‘release’ controls and makes it fast and intuitive to make your snares go ‘Phil Collins’.

Shape Section:

  • “Tone” is a tilt EQ that lets you quickly shift the frequency balance of the reverb to brighter or darker.
  • “Smoothing” gradually applies an EQ-curve custom-designed to address the frequency areas that tend to get resonant and sharp. It mellows out any reverb harshness and gives Crystalline a more subtle feel. This allows you to add a little more reverb without drenching your mix.
  • “Transients” lets you shift the reverb algorithm’s emphasis to either the attack or sustain part of the incoming signal. Emphasizing the sustain more than the transients will make the reverb feel airy and light, while emphasizing the attack stage is a great way to get a splashy and dense sound. The Transients feature works especially well for controlling reflections on percussive material.

Output Section:

  • “Ducker” lowers the reverb signal when the dry/incoming track is playing. This gives you a cleaner mix, where you can turn up the reverb more without compromising the dry track. “Ducker Gentle” mode offers a slow and natural ducker setting, while the standard ducker mode has a more pumpy feel.
  • ”Reverse” reverses the reverb playback, giving you some radical sound design possibilities.
  • “Freeze” is another creative effect that takes a granular snapshot of the reverb when clicked and holds this snapshot continuously until the button is un-clicked again. It can be a powerful effect for creating interesting transitions in a mix.
  • “Dry/Wet” sets the global mix balance between the dry/incoming signal and the reverb signal. Clicking the “Wet Lock” button lets you browse presets while keeping your preferred wet/dry balance – for easier comparison.

Top Panel:

  • “Color” lets you change between light and dark background colors.
  • “Eco Mode” lets you run Crystalline in a low-CPU mode by setting the resolution to ‘basic’ and disabling the shimmer effect.
  • “Save As Default” lets you save your own default preset that will appear every time the plugin initializes or you hit the reset button. “Reset” resets the plugin’s state to your default preset. “Tool Tips” gives you help texts explaining each plugin parameter during mouse hover-over. Crystalline comes loaded with more than 150 presets from Baby Audio and friends of the house to get you started.
  • Plugin formats: VST, VST3, AU, AAX.
  • Compatible with MAC M1 Chip
  • Platforms supported: Mac OS 10.7 and up
  • Includes Native M1 Compatibility
  • PC Windows 7 and up.
  • DAWs supported: Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Nuendo, Reaper, Reason + more.

Toraverb 2

The concept algorithm implemented in the unit allows to create practically any type of reverb.

When creating Toraverb, we did not base it on any current reverb unit available in the market. We did not implement any “off-the-shelf” algorithm. Toraverb is not a classic type reverb unit like spring, room, hall or plate. Toraverb is a concept algorithm reverb. Using a set of easily accessible parameters, it allows the user to create practically ANY type of reverb. Our goal was to create a reverb which would sound pleasant to the listener and the output could be tweaked in many ways by the user. Reverb is a critical effect in a mix. Result depends on the reverb algorithm used and the quality of the implementation. Usually reverb is used as a send effect in which many channels in a mix are routed to it. If a low-quality plug-in or hardware unit is used, the end results can sound very disappointing with the reverb tail sounding like it had been “ripped-off” in the mix.

High quality of diffusion

In Toraverb, we applied diffusing network of the highest possible quality based on modified all-pass filters. By doing this and using properly tuned parameters, we can almost eliminate unwanted flutter echo effects for every sound source.

Two parametric EQs

Toraverb is equipped with two independent, single band, fully parametric equalizers with 3 available curve types each. One is used to EQ early reflections and the other to EQ late reflections. This is an incredibly useful feature which provides a lot of control over the character of the reverb allowing to achieve most natural sound.

Modulated tail

Toraverb also has an additional modulation parameter, which affects the diffusing network. These are responsible for the distribution of the sound waves reflections in time. By changing the modulation, the sound of the reverb tail can be altered to give a more realistic effect of sound propagation. Modulation amount is controlled independently for early and late reflections.

Realistic cross-talk

To give a better impression of physical space, we have added an innovative spatial reflection algorithm to Toraverb. It improves spatial reflections by allowing cross-talking of reflected stereo waves between stereo channels. This models what happens in the real world when a sound audible only in the left ear is reflected and is heard in both ears.

Early / Late mixer

For convenient blending, Early and Late reflections together. Now with balance parameters, for both reflection types, working in Left / Right or Mid / Side domains yet expanding palette of possibilities.

Built-in ducker

Essential functionality in the most studio situations. Toraverb features a built-in ducker, which’s compresses FX signal’s amplitude proportionally to the loudness of dry / unprocessed input, thus saving an overall output signal energy. Such a tool built into the plug-in is a real time-saver for any music producer or studio engineer. No need to employ any additional side-chain compression unit into your fx chain and simplify this aspect of use to the minimum.

Key Features:

  • High quality diffusion network
  • Pre-delay with optional tempo sync.
  • Reverb’s tail modulation (with independent control for Early and Late reflections)
  • Controllable crosstalk of spatial reflections
  • Parametric EQ for Early and Late reflections (with 3 different curves each)

MasterVerb 6

Why is MasterVerb a great reverb?

1) It sounds great.

The rooms sound natural and spacious. The plates are extremely dense. The decays are silky smooth without annoying artifacts. The reverb is clearly audible without being muddy.

When applied to stereo inputs, the stereo soundstage is maintained with proper balance.

2) It can reproduce a range of spaces.

MasterVerb contains two different algorithms to generate the dense late reverberation: a hall algorithm and a plate algorithm. Each of these algorithms has independently adjustable size and decay time controls, so they can be morphed across a wide range of characteristics.

The hall algorithm is intended for acoustic spaces, e.g. rooms, chambers, studios, halls, while the plate algorithms is for, well, plate reverbs. An early reflection section allows for various early reflection patterns, again with adjustable size. Wet and dry delays allow for pre-delay and other delay effects.

Two three-band EQs are provided: the early EQ shapes the overall tonality of the reverb response and the late EQ shapes the frequency dependent decay. On top of that there is a triggered amplitude envelope which can generate gated and reverse reverb effects. So, there is a ton of flexibility here.

MasterVerb ships with 60 presets which cover a wide range of reverbs and serve as starting points for further exploration.

3) It’s easy to use.

The interface allows you to quickly visualize the changes you are making. A reverb time response lets you see the reverb decay, early reflections, amplitude envelope, and delay settings.

A 3-D frequency response plot shows the reverb decay as a function of frequency. There are graphical frequency response controls for both EQs.

4) It’s CPU efficient.

Considerable effort went into designing the low level algorithms so they could be fully automatable and also extremely CPU efficient. The result is that MasterVerb takes far less CPU than other reverb plug-ins.

Requires a host program that supports audio plug-ins.

64-bit plugins can’t work in 32-bit hosts even if the operating system is 64-bit. Do NOT use 32-bit plugins in 64-bit hosts. They would have to be bridged and can become slow and unstable.

Mac OS X

  • Mac OS X 10.9 and newer (64-bit only)
  • VST / VST3 / AU / AAX compatible host (64-bit only)
  • Intel/AMD processor with SSE2 support or Apple Silicon processor

AR1 Reverb

Quality Algorithmic Reverb Plugin

AR1 is an algorithmic reverb plugin designed to sound great on all types of instruments. AR1 sounds amazing on Pianos, Bells, Guitars, and Vocals, but also on more synthetic sounds like Synthesizer leads.

We have tweaked and tested for thousands of hours to get this sounding just right for any sound source you care to throw at it.

A Reverb plugin is used to make instruments sound like they are being played in a real place (Hall, Stadium etc) , an algorithmic (ie realtime) reverb has to recreate this very convincingly or it will just sound “wrong” or fake.

AR1 Reverb gives you the ability to create a space of your liking with very simple to use controls. We want this to be your go to plugin for quality reverberation.

AR1 sounds great and is easy to use with a high definition interface that is pleasing to work with.

AR1 Reverb Features

  • Early Size: This controls the distance or size for any early reflections.
  • Early Level: Controls how much of an effect the Early size control has on the overall sound of the reverb.
  • Size: Increases the size of the reverb space, also has the effect of making the reverb tail last longer.
  • Width: Stereo width, at 0% the reverb will be completely mono, losing all stereo information. At 100% the reverb sounds as wide as possible in the stereo field.
  • Pre delay: AR1 reverbs response is delayed by the pre delay amount in milliseconds. This can give the effect of an even larger space or just sound more natural. Reflections of sound usually takes some time to reach the ear. Set the exact amount with pre delay.
  • Bandwidth: Reduces the amount of high frequencies in the reverb. This would make the reverb sound ‘softer’ , think being in a space with soft furnishings and carpets, as opposed to say a kitchen or bathroom with lots of hard surfaces.
  • Damping: This controls how fast the high frequencies in the reverb dissipate over time. More damping will make the reverb sound softer and the overall reverb will appear to decrease in volume faster too. High damping means the reverb is absorbed very quickly by the room and doesn’t reverberate as much.
  • Modulation: Adds a little pitch modulation to the reverb tail.
  • Mix: Controls how much of the original audio is mixed with the reverberation. Set to 100 wet to get only the AR1 Reverb tail.
  • Windows: 64 Bit VST, AAX
  • Mac: Audio Unit, VST, AAX
  • Size:  120 MB
  • NOW COMPATIBLE WITH MAC OS CATALINA
  • Not compatible with MAC BIG SUR

Hollow

Hollow is a vast space reverb effect plugin. At its core is a massive delay network comprised of 24 delay lines, 32 filters, and a feedback matrix with as many as 256 connections.

With all settings maxed out, this engine is capable of producing tail times that exceed 15 minutes, while still having a very natural exponential decay.

Hollow includes a variable diffusion stage and a unique bi-directional pre-delay: in addition to normal operation, it can also make the reverb tail precede the dry input signal, opening interesting new creative possibilities.

Additionally, the plugin has trademark unison modulation via four phase-shifted sine oscillators – for adding deep, chorus-like vibrance and richness.

The complex yet highly musical algorithms in Hollow also feature finely-tuned low-pass or high-pass damping filters and employ a very special formula for adjusting the reverb engine’s stereo width – giving it a truly vast, almost three-dimensional sound.

Røverb

Design your own spaces, in this delay/reverb hybrid

This audio effect filter is a hybrid between a simple reverb and a very complex delay.

R0Verb consists of up to 50 separate delay lines and puts you in charge of every single delay with controls for volume, pre-delay, feedback & high shelf. It can be used for everything from simple delays to complex spaces, whatever your mix needs. It also has a nice Randomizer if you’re feeling lucky!

  • 1. Delay lines – Rôverb consists of multiple delay lines, each with separate parameters for pan, pre-delay time, delay time, gain, decay & high-shelf. The direction of each delay line tells how the output will be panned; if it points to the left, the output will be panned to the left and vice versa. The size of the circles denotes gain levels. The first circle (from origin) is the gain value. The outer circle represents decay.
  • 2. Toolbox – Use these to switch between Time change, Delete, Volume, and High shelf gain.
  • 3. Randomizer – This tool makes it possible to create a new reverb with user-defined bounds. Weeha!

Features

  • Up to 50 parallel delays
  • Every delay has parameters for volume, pre-delay, feedback, delay time & a high shelving filter
  • Randomizer – creates a space with user-defined bounds
  • Multi-select and edit several delay-lines in one gesture
  • Post 3-band EQ
  • Comes with a few factory presets for inspiration
  • macOS 10.10 or later (optimized for the M1-processor)
  • Windows 7 SP1 or later
  • AU, VST-2, VST-3, AAX
