BabylonOne Page Wonder W.A Production have been wanting to create a synth like Babylon for years, after struggling with synths that overcomplicate programming with multiple windows and menus. Babylon keeps things sleek and simple with a one-page design, featuring all major parameters on a single interface page. Of course, a synth is only as good as it sounds and they’ve included hundreds of waveforms and presets to choose from. Babylon can turn its hand to any kind of instrumentation including different types of leads, basses, pads, organs, keys, FX and more. With powerful multi-voice oscillators, stereo unison & detuning, high quality filters, effects and an internal modulation matrix Babylon can stand with the big boys because it’s powerful, but perfectly formed. Microtonal Tuning: Very unusual for a soft-synth, with Babylon you can tune every individual note to its own frequency and play quartertone and microtonal scales. These would not normally be able to be played in standard tuning and make for some extremely fun experimental harmonics. Scale Helper: Babylon comes complete with 23 standard and 34 traditional scales and modes from the Middle East. You can choose a scale, a key and see the notes of the scale highlighted on the virtual keyboard. Microtonal tuning is also set up automatically. Using a modern synthesizer to play scales from all over the world has never been easier. Presets: With 257 high-resolution waveforms, you’re sure to find the perfect starting point for your own sounds. Alongside many variants of the classic oscillator shapes, W.A Production have included formant, gritty, voice and instrument waveforms for maximum versatility. These can all be inverted and reversed (or both). Over 2300 preset sounds have been expertly programmed and are catalogued into themes within the onboard browser so you can easily find what you need in a hurry. Effects: A full range of FX are included: Distortion, Bit rate and Sample Rate Reduction, Filter, Chorus, EQ, Delay and Reverb. These can be reordered by simply clicking and dragging, making for a logical approach to FX routing. Unique Features W.A Production could list all of the great features of Babylon, but instead, allow them to point out some aspects which they think are unique in the world of soft-synths. The filter section features not only standard controls but also 5 characterful poly effects: drive, distortion, saturation, crush and LoFi. There’s a dedicated Vibrato LFO with delay & attack settings for smooth vibrato transitions. Babylon has 12 different curve types for ADSR and Filter programming. Visual unison feedback shows the exact width and depth of your voicing and detuning choices. And did they mention the scales and microtuning? Oh yes, so they did. W. A. Production are real-life producers making creative plugins to help you achieve studio quality processing quickly and easily. Enjoy! Features

DreamsynthDreams Brought to Life Cherry Audio’s Dreamsynth is a tribute to the celebrated hybrid analog+digital synthesizers of the mid-to-late 1980s. The innovative design blends flexible dual-wave morphing oscillators, stereo filters, fully polyphonic analog strings, extensive and easy-to-use modulation, studio-quality effects, and MPE support, all in an elegant vintage-style synth interface. An Era of Innovation Dreamsynth draws its inspiration from renowned synths including the Ensoniq ESQ-1, the Kawai “K” series, and the Sequential Prophet VS. In the second half of the ’80s, music production was rapidly transitioning from analog to digital. These “hybrid” synthesizers bridged the gap, combining the precision and flexibility of sampled digital oscillators with the warmth of analog filters. The combination of digital and analog sound produced instruments with character and a unique sonic fingerprint that still resonates today. A Dream Come True With the magic of these vintage classics in mind, we set out to create Dreamsynth. Dreamsynth is a “What if…?” synthesizer incorporating the distinctive qualities of this remarkable era with the best features of modern software instruments to create a uniquely 21st-century hybrid. Model TINTRODUCING MODEL T – Spectral modeled 80s EP A classic of the late 70’s and 80’s. We recreated a classic 80s EP by Spectral Modeling, offering the real sound and feel of the simplest electromechanical piano in the history in just 30MB. Carefully crafted. Detailed recreation of every single mechanical noise and main timbre. No velocity swithching since is not sample-based. Available for Mac & Win, Standalone and Plug-in versions. PRODUCT DETAILS
MODEL T SOUND This was one of the most affordable and common eletromechanical piano produced in the late 70’s. Based on reeds, it generates a warm, bell-like but dark tone. It does not includes sustain pedal, due his simple mechanics and easily replaceable pieces. But we included the option to activate the sustain pedal on our modeled recreation. Also we recreated mechanics sound, very present in every sound. (Controlable individually on our instrument) AN 80S CLASSIC Late in the 70’s was launched a simple yet powerful electromechanical piano. Manufactured betwen 1977 and 1982, this classic electr-mechanical piano was one of the simplest EPs in the history. Based on reeds, ands sticky pads, the it offers a “Reed” like sound but with a much more present mechanical noises due the proximity of the mechanics to the keyboard itself. It does not offers a sustain pedal or volume/tone controls. Despite this his tone makes extremely effect-friendly as many of the vintage EPs WHAT EXACTLY IS SPECTRAL MODELING? Every sound in nature can be decomposed into simple sine waves. From a bird tweet to a trumpet note. Spectral modeling is the process of analyzing and creating a sound by stacking simple sine waves. According to Julius O. Smith (Standford) Spectral modeling provides a sound representation much closer to the perception of sound by the brain because your ear and brain are in fact spectral decoders.
No AAX version is included. (ProTools) |

Circle2Synthesis Made Simple Creativity shouldn’t be complicated. Craft totally unique sounds and finish more songs with Circle². Circle² is the new major update to Future Audio Workshop’s flagship software synthesizer, Circle. Since its release in 2009, Circle has achieved cult status, becoming a key tool in the arsenal of both seminal underground and pop hitmakers such as Hudson Mohawke, Arca, David Guetta and Deadmau5. The 2015 update incorporates several new features, modules and effects, extending the spectrum of sounds that can be composed. Circle² also features a completely redesigned user interface, providing a forward-thinking interpretation of Circle’s esteemed user-centred design approach. Usability is at the heart of the design of Circle². With the affordance of the power of modern computer processors, many software synthesizers have become progressively more complex and difficult to use. The aim of Circle is to step aside from this path and to instead focus on placing flow and intuitiveness at the core of the music-making process. Rather than burying a deluge of synthesis parameters in submenus and external windows, Circle² encourages experimentation by presenting parameters in an accessible and intuitive manner. The unique Circle² interface enables a level of experimentation that would be unachievable via a more typical, convoluted interface; allowing the user to focus on creativity rather than technicalities. This design philosophy sets Circle² apart in the synthesizer landscape and provides the foundation for the development of the next generation. Instead of designing Circle² to graphically replicate its analog predecessors, Future Audio Workshop have been working alongside Berlin-based designer Lars Hammerschmidt to bring Circle² firmly into the 21st century through the use of a contemporary design language that looks more to the future than the past. The goal was to construct an even flatter design with brighter, more distinct colors than was seen in Circle. Everything In One Window
Modulation Made Simple
VPS: A New Kind Of Synthesis
Based on state-of-the-art digital synthesis research, the brand new VPS (vector phase shaping synthesis) oscillator is one of the most exciting new features of Circle². The new oscillator utilizes a cutting-edge synthesis technique introduced by researchers at the Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering and The National University of Ireland, and further developed for its implementation in Circle² via an academic collaboration with Future Audio Workshop. The VPS oscillator works by glueing together a pair of sine waves with specified frequencies. Via its two parameters – which control the frequencies of the sine waves and the location at which they are glued – the VPS oscillator provides direct control of the waveform’s intricate harmonics. Experimentation throughout the oscillator development process has led to a range of results; from dirty Reese style bass patches to ethereal pads and gritty lead lines. Modulating the parameters can produce a wide range of effects, either used subtly to give gentle movement, or used harshly to twist and contort a synth into oblivion. We’re excited to hear what synthesis results users can achieve using the new oscillator. The Sounds You Want When You Want Them
Ready To Perform With NKS
Fully Re-Written Audio Engine Circle² provides several enhancements to Circle’s instantly recognizable and critically acclaimed sound engine, helping to ensure that Circle² sounds better than ever before. Furthermore, on top of Circle’s existing modules, Circle² also comes with new Bucket Delay and Tube Distortion effects that bring a vintage flavour to its sounds. This gives Circle² a new total of 15 inbuilt sound modifiers / effects. Fully Retina Display Ready Circle²’s interface is fully retina display ready. Brings a vibrancy and clarity that is unseen in other software instruments. An interface for 2015. PS-20 SynthesizerThe MS Synth Experience, Supercharged PS-20 is an ultra-realistic, polyphonic, hot-rodded tribute to Korg’s renowned MS-20. First and foremost, PS-20’s dual highpass/lowpass filters super accurately recreate the MS-20’s famous raunchy sound in all of its squelchy, screaming glory. In addition to its unique filters, the MS-20’s other signature feature is its modular-style patch panel. We’ve reconfigured the patch panel from the original instrument, adding many desired in and out patch points for all oscillators, filters, and VCAs, correcting the confusing terminology of the original, and throwing in a few extras that greatly expand its usability. Every part of the instrument has been “souped up” with killer features, including 16-note polyphony, a unique three-layer, eight-step sequencer with flexible CV outs, and integrated effects, including a beastly distortion, modulation echo with stereo spread, and a lush digital reverb with fantastic spring and plate emulations. The PS-20 truly is one of the most quirky and unique instruments we’ve released. Between its sometimes unpredictable filter behavior, and the tremendous flexibility of its patch panel and sequencer, the possibilities are endless, and the creative “happy accident” quotient of PS-20 is simply off the charts! ArcSynArcSyn is a synthesizer instrument plug-in based on typical analogue synthesizer architecture, i.e., a “virtual analogue” synthesizer. Unlike many virtual analogues, it doesn’t try and emulate a particular ‘real’ synthesizer, nor does it use 90% of your computer’s CPU time to emulate a filter which can be cloned on a 2″ (5 cm) square PCB with $5 worth of components 🙂 Instead, it takes the “road less well traveled” and explores some unusual avenues of analogue (and digital) synthesis—the sort of capabilities you might find on a well-stocked modular synthesizer, including: unusual waveforms, dividers, logic functions, frequency shifters and so on. ArcSyn also introduces the concept of LFO wave sequencing, allowing extremely complex modulation patterns. ArcSyn is laid out approximately like a MiniMoog, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to start editing programs and creating interesting sounds, although if you take the time to work out how the LFOs and modulation matrix operate, you’ll be able to create much more complex programs. There’s also a RANDOM button which you can click at any time if you want some instant (not necessarily musical!) inspiration.
You only need to buy one licence for ArcSyn to run multiple versions as they all use the same licence code. Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) or newer. NOT COMPATIBLE WITH BIG SUR Win: a PC running Windows 7, 8 or 10 with an SSE2-capable CPU and a VST 2.4 or VST3 compatible DAW / sequencer host application. Mac: an Intel Mac running 64 bit macOS 10.7 (Lion) or later and an AudioUnit, VST 2.4 or VST3 compatible DAW / sequencer host application. |

OPLThe OPL is a digital sound synthesis chip developed by Yamaha in the mid 1980s. Among other products, it was used in sound cards for PC, including the Ad Lib card and early Sound Blaster series. Overview What’s an OPL? At a technical level: the emulator has channels comprised of 2 oscillators each. Each pair of oscillators is usually combined via phase modulation (basically frequency modulation). Each oscillator can produce one of eight waveforms (sine, half sine, absolute sine, quarter sine, alternating sine, camel sine, square, logarithmic sawtooth), and has an ADSR envelope controlling its amplitude. The unusual waveforms give it a characteristic sound. How do I use it? Each instance of the plugin emulates an entire OPL chip, but with this plugin, essentially you are just working with two operators: the carrier and modulator. SBI Files SBI files are an instrument file format developed by Creative Labs back in the day for the Sound Blaster. Essentially they work as presets for this plugin. Just drag and drop them into the plugin window! Percussion mode is now supported! This mode is not very well documented, even in the original Yamaha documentation. Also, some much more detailed notes on percussion mode based on experimentation with real hardware!

Forbidden PlanetA World of Cinematic Inspiration Jam-packed with 645 instruments, EastWest’s Forbidden Planet contains 54GB of analog samples that span the full gamut of genres. Powered by EW’s Opus engine, this soft synth boasts a revolutionary hybrid design that melds electronic synth layers with orchestral, world instruments, choral samples, sound effects, and more. What’s more, you can manipulate, process, and combine these cinematic-tinged sounds in an intuitive — and inspiring — way to craft a sonic palette with a decidedly futuristic character. And everything was meticulously captured with state-of-the-art studio gear, yielding you the fattest analog-flavored synth textures on the planet. Forbidden Planet is divided into multiple categories, such as Arpeggiator, Bass, Drones, FX, Leads, Pads, and Polysynths, arming you with everything you need to embark on the ultimate hybrid synth odyssey. Provides intuitive sonic control Despite its undeniable sonic flexibility, gaining control of Forbidden Planet is surprisingly intuitive. Its central X/Y pad makes crossfading between sound sources and filter settings a piece of cake — creating morphing hybrid sounds has never been easier! You can dynamically capture broad, but smooth, shifts in both timbre and frequency content. Move left or right to change the blend between two contrasting sources, gleaned from analog, acoustic, synthetic, and large-scale cinematic sounds. Moving vertically controls the soft synth’s filter frequency, which is ideal for creating sweeping gestures. Bending Forbidden Planet to your will is easy, and above all, it’s an inspiring creative experience. Pop the hood for even more creative options EastWest’s Forbidden Planet isn’t limited to an X/Y pad. If you pull up the plug-in’s filter section, you can take full control of the synth’s modulation depth. You can add an ADSR-style envelope onto the filter cutoff with the Mod Envelope, automating its movement with each note, while the Step LFO section generates a gated rhythm as the built-in step sequencer modulates the filter cutoff frequency. This, of course, leaves you free to grab hold of Forbidden Planet’s X/Y pad to build progressive textures and drones to set the tone of whatever atmosphere your imagination prompts you to create. Contains an array of oft-used categories To keep things intuitive, the instruments in Forbidden Planet are divided into multiple categories. Arpeggiator includes a dual arpeggio structure, enabling unique rhythmic combinations across both layers. Bass surpasses typical, run-of-the-mill analog bass emulations with layered FX pedal tones, contrasting crossfades, and gritty overtone. Drones are mechanical, organic, and environmental, supplying access to a vast universe of atmospheres. FX is a collection of effects derived from voices, acoustic instruments, and an entire stable of synthesized sources. Leads go way beyond pure sawtooth and square leads, providing you with a means of creating organic, adaptive leads that really pop. Pads employ Forbidden Planet’s X/Y pad to sculpt warm, ambient, or gritty pads, then morph between cinematic textures with zero effort. Polysynth is a collection of presets that don’t fit neatly into any one category. Features

Spatial Envelope Generators: A note that starts at the back, attacks to the center, sustains in the right, and releases to the ceiling. All by using a EG with 3D render. Spatial LFO: Notes moving everywhere, with azimuth and elevation controlled by LFOs. Independent Oscillators: Each oscillator may have their own spatial settings, with independant starting positions and movements, for fantastic 3D sounds. Movement Modifiers: Use movement modifiers, to obtain interesting movements in a fast way, from crazy rotations to smooth movements. Divergence: Do you want all notes to start in the same spot, or should the synth create slight position variations between notes? Dolby Atmos: SkyDust is able to output audio in multiple multichannel formats, from 5.1 to 9.1.6, perfect for your Dolby Atmos music. Binaural: No immersive studio? Don’t worry, use the synth with 3D sound over Headphones, using Sound Particles’ Binaural engine. Ambisonics: Do you use Ambisonics? Great, because SkyDust supports up to 6th order Ambisonics. Special Panner: The Sound Particles team created a special 3D panner, that merges the advantages of sphere-based panners and cube-based panners. 3D Views: Multiple 3D views, for you to see what is happening in terms of space: 360º view, top view, rear view, sphere view, and more… SOFA: Use the built-in HRTF datasets, or your custom SOFA file (with your HRTF profile), and you will have a great 3D experience with headphones. Oscillators: Multiple oscillators and wave modifiers, to obtain fantastic sounds. 8 Oscillators: With 8 oscillators per voice, SkyDust will allow you to create rich and fantastic sounds, using subtractive, FM or hybrid approaches. Polyphonic Synth: With up to 256 voices, the synth is able to play an huge number of notes. And if you need to past the limit, the synth will handle it gracefully. Anti-Alias: With anti-alias technology, the synth will prevent the ugly artifacts typical of some digital synthesizers. Waveforms & Noises: From traditional waves to crazy noises, pick the right waveform for your oscillators. Waveform Modifiers: Use one of the multiple modifiers to create unique waveform sounds. Or link them with an LFO for even more interesting results. Multiple EGs: Do you like ADSR’s for everything, or do you prefer more complicated ones (e.g., DAHDSR)? Arpeggiator: A modern approach to the Arpeggiator and Sequencer. Arpeggiator + Sequencer: The Arpeggiator and the Sequencer will allow you to create fantastic note sequences for your new music piece. Step Keyboards: With a keyboard for each step of the sequencer, for you to stop thinking about semitones, and simply create fantastic music. Polyphonic Sequencer: Yes, old synthesizers only had monophonic sequencers, but with a polyphonic sequencer the results can be even more interesting. Parameter Sequences: Add parameters to the sequencer to create even richer sequences, changing their values through time. Arpeggiator Modes: Pick one of the 7 arpeggiator modes, add extra octaves, and get great results. Major / Minor chords: Wouldn’t be nice for the sequencer to adapt to major/minor chords? Force a scale for the sequence to know when to play which. Frequency Modulation: Add modern FM synthesis and create amazing sounds. FM Operators: Do you prefer subtractive, FM, or hybrid? Use the 8 oscilators as 8 FM operators, and add filters on top for hybrid results. FM Matrix: Create custom connections between operators with the FM matrix – the sky is the limit! Operator View: Check the connections between operators on the operator’s view, to make sure you are doing the right FM routing. Filters: Subtractive synthesis, with independent filters, to obtain wonderful results. Filters: If you like subtractive synthesis, use filters (with EGs and LFOs) to obtain the sound you are looking for. Oscillator Filters: Each oscillator may have their own filter, controlled by their own EG and LFO, allowing you to create even better sounds. Keyboard + Velocity Mapping: Do you want your filters to adapt to the keyboard notes and their velocity? No problem. Pitch: Use new pitch effects, to create unique sounds. Pitch EG + LFO: From smooth vibratos to crazy pitch variations, each oscillator may have their own EG and LFOs. Pitch Convergence: Use random pitch values on the Pitch EG to obtain amazing pitch convergence results (and in 3D). Random Behaviors: Pick one of the available random pitch behaviors, to obtain very interesting results, from horror to enlightment. Effects / Mix: A Mixer and audio effects that helps you to shape the sound Mixer: The mixer will be your friend: from Solo to focus on a single oscillator, to volumes to shape your sound, or simply to check levels. FX’s: Use one of the 4 FX slots available to add effects like delay, reverb, EQ, bit-crusher, among others. Dry/Wet: Control the dry/wet of each effect, to achieve the best results for your sound. Matrix: The maximum flexibility for the ultimate power – anything is possible. Matrix:Use the Matrix to use any parameter to control any parameter. Pitch-bend for elevation? LFO for resonance? Anything is possible. Filter by (source/destination): A matrix list can grow fast. Use “Filter by” to show entries by either the source (MIDI, LFO, EG) or destination (Spatial, Pitch, FM, etc.) Curve Editor: Use the curve editor, to obtain even more control over the parameters – sometimes, the best results require fine tuning. Extras: Envelope Generators and LFO’s are never too many. Extra EG’s: 8 extra envelope generators, to use with additional parameters of the synth. Maybe a single EG to rule them all. Extra LFO’s: Additional 8 LFO’s, for you to play with more parameters. Maybe you want to add some extra noise LFO on top of a regular vibrato. Curve Editor: Use the curve editor with the extra EG’s and LFO’s, to fine tune the desired sound. Resizable Window: Feel free to resize your window, because the graphical interface will adapt: from extra small to extra large views. XY Pads with Snap: Use 2 XY pads to control parameters easily. With snap (and snap time), the results will be even more interesting. Mono / Legato: If you like monophonic synths, choose between “Mono” and “Legato”, and adjust the glide time that you desire. Macros: With 4 macros available, it’s very easy to control multiple parameters at once. And “Macro A” it’s the easiest to reach. Pitch / Spatial / Arp: Turn off pitch effects, spatial movements or arpeggiator. Sometimes, you simply want a good clean sound. Virtual Keyboard: Sometimes, you don’t have a keyboard with you, but you simply want to play some synth sounds. Use the virtual keyboard and have fun!
