Fire Strings

Fire Strings will ignite your creativity with 6GB of custom recorded sounds inside an extremely powerful engine powered by Native instruments Kontakt sampler.

Fire Strings is a hybrid, scoring and music production tool for cinematic composers and producers. The library consists of a highly curated collection of cinematic sounds created from recordings of electric violin and guitars recorded through high end analog signal paths (Neve, API, Universal Audio, Manley) and put through extensive sound design processes by a team of sound designers.

Over 140 sounds including sustains, textures and grooves are included.

The Engine

Each sequencer has advanced controls which allow you to change the speed, number of steps, direction, offset, fade-in, nudge and loop individually per sequencer. Each sequencer also has copy/paste functions, randomisation and built-in presets.

Fire Strings is an incredibly advanced instrument for Kontakt. Combine two sound sources and rhythmically swap between each sound or create rich evolving soundscapes with gradual modulation. There are also presets per sequencer so you can quickly select pre-built tools to add rhythm and variation instantly.

The 11 effects per sound can be controlled randomly or in positive or negative directions at the press of a button. The amount of control here is unprecedented and opens up a vast world of sound design capabilities.

An additional 8 global send and insert effects allow for even further sound manipulating possibilities.

Content

Tonal – This section of the library contains electric violin sustains and textures both of a traditional and extended nature. We dug very deep to push well beyond common technique. Here you’ll find everything from standard sustains and tremolos to the extremely jarring spectral scrubs, harmonics, trills, wild microtonal bends and vibrato.

Risers – Risers offers a collection of long, tension building glissandos played with a variety of bowing and fingering techniques, perfect for developing climaxes.

Rhythmic – The rhythmic content consists of dozens of tonal, tempo-synced electric guitar grooves that serve as the perfect starting point for a cue. All grooves are mapped across several octaves and are freely transposable.

Knockout Drums

A hard-hitting drum sample library built for Kontakt

Knockout Drums is a hard-hitting drumkit sample library created in collaboration with metal drummer extraordinaire Navene Koperweis (Entheos, Animosity, Animals As Leaders) and seasoned mixing engineer/producer Zack Ohren (Machine Head, All Shall Perish, Aborted). Whether you’re looking for a gigantic live room feel or a super- focused and tight studio sound, this kit crushes it.

Navene obsessively sampled every nuance of his Starclassic Bubinga drumkit at Sharkbite Studios to bring you a massive collection of hand-picked drums including 7 snares, 3 kicks, and a variety of Meinl cymbals designed to strike hard and show no mercy. Each element can be dialed in to your personal taste with a wide selection of carefully selected microphone models recorded through a 1978 Trident TSM console.

We utilized a unique stereo pair for each drum using TLM 103’s, top and bottom mics for snare & toms, kick and sub, and a selection of room mic options that offer you complete sonic freedom to tackle everything from progressive & death metal to rock, pop, breakbeat and dance styles and everywhere in-between. This library has all the power tools and performance features you need to get a great-sounding drum mix right out-of-the-box, no matter what tonal style you’re after.

We’ve packed the user interface with powerful sound-shaping controls to give you complete flexibility. The Master Kit presets contain every sample in the library and a host of powerful performance features. Use the Remapper to create custom drum mappings or load any of our factory presets which include a number of common drum maps for easy use with existing MIDI drum loops and grooves. Our powerful mixer allows you to route each instrument track to any available output in Kontakt and includes individual control for Volume, Pan, FX Send, and Stereo width, from mono to full stereo spread, as well as an FX chain with compressor, limiter, 4-band parametric EQ and more! The Master section features Space and Delay FX sends with a wide variety of options for each.

In the advanced settings pull-down window, you’ll also find an adaptable per-layer LFO system, with selectable LFO shape, modulation target parameter, speed, intensity, tempo-syncing and fade-in time. You can also apply your choice of 13 lowpass, high-pass and FX filters, with assignable modulation targets such as velocity, mod-wheel, expression, after-touch, key position and step-sequencer table control. Fatty 311

FATTY 311 honors the tonal legacy of the Conn Prelude 311 organ.

Our lovely Prelude had a real spring reverb unit, two 44 key keyboards, a Min-O-Matic rhythm machine, and tons of emulated sounds of clarinet, trombone, violin, guitar tremolo, and more.

FATTY 311 honors the tonal legacy of the Conn Prelude 311 organ. C.G. Conn Ltd., sometimes called Conn Instruments or commonly just Conn, was an American manufacturer incorporated in 1915. Its early business was based primarily on brass instruments manufactured in Elkhart, Indiana. During the 1950s, its best seller became the electric organ. After the household organ craze died down (50-70), Conn went bankrupt and was eventually bought by Steinway in 2000.

Charles G. Conn was a Civil War veteran of the U.S. Army who established a grocery and baking business in Elkhart, Indiana after the war. He also played cornet in the local community band. He started out inventing cornet mouthpieces, and by 1905, Conn had the world’s largest musical instrument factory producing a full line of wind instruments, strings, percussion, and a portable organ.

Our lovely Prelude has a real spring reverb unit, two 44 key keyboards, a Min-O-Matic rhythm machine, and tons of emulated sounds of clarinet, trombone, violin, guitar tremolo, and more. The instrument’s classic wooden body echoes the popular aesthetics of the 1970s and its beefy, warm analog sound can cut through any mix. We sampled its best sustains, staccatos, and effects in three microphone positions to bring your midi to life. You can easily use vibrato and a special “Octave” knob, which spices up your tone by smoothly rolling in lower and higher octaves. We’ve also included tons of custom FX patches and sound-designed ambient synth pads created from the source to make this library extraordinarily playable and versatile. Whether you’re looking to recreate an old video game sound, huge synth bass tone or play straight from the hymnal, Fatty 311 can get you there!

Contents

The Kontakt interface includes a suite of automation-ready sound-shaping controls to give you total creative flexibility. You have control over swell, attack, release, offset, vibrato, filter, pitch (coarse & fine), articulation switching, cross-fading and layering, and so much more.

You can also apply your choice of 12 lowpass, high-pass and FX filters, with assignable modulation targets such as velocity, modwheel, expression, after-touch, key position and step-sequencer table control. Our customizable arpeggiator offers a velocity table and control over arp direction, timing, swing, randomization and duration. We’ve included a key and scale lock system to constrain your notes to common scales and keys for easy melodic composition and live performance.

Sick 2

A Horror Instrument & Sound FX Library For Kontakt

Sick Volume 2 was designed with horror sound-design in mind. This library is a one stop shop for eerie and disturbing paranormal sound-design, including subterranean clanks, booms, thuds, cracks, drags, stomps, steps, creaks and thumps in the dark- ness; demonic creature howls, moans, breaths and growls; hellish and twisted sound- scapes, pads, drones and ambiences; and a variety of terrifyingly vivid EVP recordings (some of them quite real).

To capture the raw materials for this sonic descent, We explored the bowels of an abandoned Civil War/World War I-era naval artillery bunker (mind you, not the same bunker that we visited in Rust II – I guess you could say we love us some abandoned bunkers.) and a World War II/Cold War-era decommissioned warship. All in all, you get over 200 Grade-A production-quality horror sound effects and sound beds for about the price of a pound of raw hamburger. Delicious!

Black Sis

The Melodica Piano 26 is another easy to use and beautiful sounding reed instrument made by the German company Hohner*.

The sound is generated by blowing air thru a mouthpiece into fine brass reeds like those used in Harmonicas. This one sounds very rich and warm.

This underrated instruments were used by musicians like UB40, Depeche Mode, The Gorillas, The Hooters, Supertramp and… you too name a few!

We are very happy to get our hands on one of these old instruments in a very good condition. The Piano 26 Melodicas were maybe the best selling Melodicas of that time.

We have recorded this old, plastic and fantastic beauty with four different types of microphones thru well selected preamps after some time consuming experiments.

Overview

Each microphone can be tuned in separately in the master area at the head of the instrument. So you can take advantage of the different characters of the four microphone types and mix your own original pretty red sound until it fits your taste perfectly.

The noise from blowing air into the Melodica was separated from the musical material and made usable thru an extra mixing knob. The same processing we did with the clicks which were produced by pressing the keys on the Melodica. So you can now add/reduce the noise from blowing by turning the noise knob and add/reduce the clicks from the keys by turning the click knob.

Volt II

Volt II is the follow up to our last popular Kontakt library Volt I.

Volt II is packed with deeply sampled and highly playable sounds including hard hitting and gritty bass sounds, ethereal pads and strings, arpeggios, distorted other-world textures, alien atmospherics and dreamy uplifting chordal synths.

Volt II uses our Volt Meter controller which allows for multiple dial manipulations on the interface with just one dial movement. Essentially the Volt Meter is an advanced Macro. Assign your modwheel to the Volt Meter automate the parameters on the fly.

Volt II is perfect for all kinds of electronic music from ambient, abstract electronica to Techno and is also great for writing breakdowns for your next electronic masterpiece.

Comes with over 130 snapshots preset and we also included a collection of MULTI’s.

Audio demos are made with just a few instances of Volt II using simple chords etc – Volt II does the rest with slow evolving textures and gritty bass and distorted arpeggios etc.

Volt Meter

Volt has a special Volt Meter dial that is the centre of the action. Most of the controls on the front panel can be controlled by the movement of the Volt Meter.

Simply select from the front panel which controls are to be controlled by Volt Meter and then select the depth/range of the control – Moving the voltmeter will then control those active dials. You can also assign the Volt Meter to your Modwheel or any other external controller dial and control many dials with the Volt Meter.

The two sliders under each dial are to set the min and max movement that the volt meter will have on the dial ie they set the range that the dial will move, if it did not have those range dials then all the dials would move the same range from 0 to full which would not be that exciting. Also it is worth noting that the left slider can also go higher then the right slider and this will create an inverse movement when the volt dial is used. ie if the left slider is taller than the right slider then when the volt meter is used the dial will move in the opposite direction – good for using on Cutoff and res with an inverse set of sliders.

Most of the included snapshots have already been setup to respond to the Volt Meter – Give it a whirl and experiment.

It is easy to create stunning patches with Volt, and by clicking the Volt symbol in the centre of the interface you can randomise patches and let the chaos of the universe play a hand in the sounds you make.

Aeolian Fan Harp

An Experimental 12 Stringed Instrument & Sound-Design library built for Kontakt

Aeolian Fan Harp is a unique hand-made instrument created by Dust Bowl Guitars. Based on the concept of a traditional ancient Greek wind harp, this 12-stringed non- fretted hollow body instrument incorporates a 120mm PC fan under the strings near the bridge to produce its own wind! And rather than nylon strings, it uses steel-wound strings and electric guitar pickups.

When plucked while the fan is off, it has a sound similar to a baritone electric guitar. Powering up the fan generates a lush steady drone, but the real magic begins when you bow, scrape, gliss or excite the strings and set off extraordinary cinematic clusters, sound effects and undulating drones. This experiment was built over three long months and sampled in outstanding detail by Soundiron contributor John Valasis and Konstantinos Sakkas.

This nearly 14GB library includes a close stereo microphone position as well as a direct stereo pickup line out, so you can dial in an electric or acoustic sound just the way you like it with the help of our handy modular FX rack, full of amp and speaker simulators, multi-FX and custom convolution reverb impulses.

The Kontakt interface includes a suite of automation-ready sound-shaping controls to give you total creative flexibility. You have control over swell, attack, release, offset, vibrato, filter, pitch (coarse & fine), articulation switching, cross-fading and layering, and so much more. We’ve also included 20 unique sound-designed custom FX presets to give you lots of creative options.

This library comes with an adaptable LFO system, with selectable LFO shape, modulation target parameter, speed, intensity, tempo-syncing and fade-in time.

Features:

  • One master NKI instrument bank in open Kontakt format
  • Steel string Sustains, E-bow, Mutes, Harmonics with fan on+off, SFX in close stereo and direct line in
  • 20 Ambience patches created from the source content
  • 24bit/48kHz uncompressed PCM wav samples
  • 20 Custom Sound-Designed FX and Ambient presets
  • 3,411stereosamples
  • 13.8GBInstalled
  • Flexible and intuitive multi-layer user interface controls, with LFO, filter, glide, and arpeggiator
  • Full FX rack with convolution reverb with custom rooms, halls, chambers & FX environments
  • Windows 7 or higher
  • Mac OSX 10.9 or higher
  • Dual Core CPU, 2 GB System Ram, SATA or SSD hard drive recommended for this library.

The full retail version of Native Instruments Kontakt version 5.5 (or later) is required to use .nki instrument presets included in this library. The free Kontakt “Player” and “Add Library” import process do not support this standard open-format Kontakt library.

Aurora Choir (Kontakt)

Symphonic Choir Sample Library for Kontakt 5.8.1 and Above!

The Aurora Choir is an elegant and powerful choir sample library for Kontakt, and represents somewhat of a milestone for Aria Sounds, being the culmination of many hours of work, study and tweaking.

The library contains both Sopranos and Altos (separate instruments for maximum control), and has an absolutely stunning legato tone. On top of this, it has short syllables, arranged into a very conveniently playable sequencer. Simple arrange your phrase in the sequence, and play away – the choir will automatically sing the syllables you enter.

Note: Full Version of Kontakt Required

Note: All Female Vocals

Multiple Legato Modes at Multiple Dynamics

The choir contains four true legato modes (ah, eh, ih and oh) sampled at multiple dynamic layers, giving a total of EIGHT true sampled legato sets, for absolute realism and variation. On top of this, there are a total of twenty four different syllable shorts, sequence-able in the GUI, each sampled at three dynamic layers, giving a total of 72 variations per short note!

Four Mic Positions (48kHz / 24 Bit)

The choir was recorded in a mid sized hall, for a pristine and clear sound, with four mic positions used to ensure that no part of the vocalists’ glorious sound was wasted. Choose from, or create your own personal blend from the four available positions.

The positions are ordered from closest to furthest, and you even have the option between close condenser mics, and close ribbon mics (for a darker and warmer sound). If an even more reverberant sound is what you are after, there is a reverb slider on the interface, and you’ll also be pleased to know that this library takes external reverb very well.

All audio is in 24 bit 48KHz .wav format files.

The sequencer (lower) part of the interface allows for the creation of extremely realistic and powerful spoken lines, with the 24 included syllables.

The default sequence spells out the “Dies Irae” text, but you can easily customise or completely change this. Simply click on any syllable, and select a different one from the 24 options on the drop down menu that opens… Each syllable was recorded at three dynamics, which respond to velocity.

The low G# (in yellow) can be used to reset the sequence to the beginning, in case you don’t want to use all twenty four steps every time, allowing for even greater variation.

11 GB of Content (22GB Required for installation process)

The “Aurora Choir” library is a standard open-format Kontakt library and requires that you own the Full Retail version of Kontakt 5.8.1 or above to use it.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All sales are final. Please check that our products are compatible with your software before purchasing, and if in doubt, contact us to ask.

Roomscape

Roomscape is an ambient infinite tape playback machine designed to generate infinite soundscapes derived from real-world field recordings of interior and exterior spaces.

The unique feature of Roomscape is that it is designed to emulate a tape machine in that you simply press play and then blend and modulate up to 4 sources as it plays. This gives incredibly unique evolving soundscapes that never stop! All sounds in Roomscape have been provided by 3Maze Sound Effects Libraries.

10 Sound Categories: 4 sounds sources, each with 10 sound categories. All sounds are accessible using the pop-up browser system and mixer settings are retained per sound.

Evolving Modulation: Roomscape allows nearly every single control to be modulated over time. With a dedicated pop-up modulation system with between 4 and 128 steps per conrol it is possible to create pulses, stepped sequences or long smooth progressions and adjust the speed individually for every control.

Send FX:  Roomscape contains 4 Send FX slots, each slot can be populated with 1 of 5 FX. Each channel can then send the signal to each slot. This makes it very easy to quickly swap effects on the fly without having to re-assign them for each source.

Snapshots: If you don’t know how to use snapshots in Kontakt then you don’t know what you are missing. They load quicker, can be organised better and shared easier than using a bunch of nkis.

Roomscape ships with 67 snapshots in 6 different categories to get you started:

  • Alien Spaces
  • Buildings
  • City
  • Country
  • FX
  • Nature

The Open Hats

The third release of the “Groove Butter” series, The Open Hats features 100 different closed Hi-hat presets made from 2.450 carefully recorded and processed one shot samples. The Hats are playable over four octaves and all presets are velocity sensitive and tuned.

We have recorded a lot of different drum machines in the past and we have now selected some of the rare ones and run them through our saturation, compressing, cleaning process and built a nice GUI for you to have lots of fun with, by turning 44 knobs to get a satisfying beat making experience for musicans and listeners. There are some totally clean and classic sounding closed Hihats and some which we have barely overworked to get some more modern or aggressive results, to fill the toolbox for different music genres.

Add some extra drama by using the pitchbend in combination with some of the useful effects, in a handy and intuitive GUI design. Use the reverb, delay and flanger section to add some width and epicness. You can go real crazy if you want to. In the mid section of the instrument you will find some more tone focussed effects like a compressor, a saturation unit, a powerful overdrive / distortion section and finally the low and hi-pass filters.

On the left side of the instrument you got a few knobs to build up the total shape and mood of the hi-hat sound by using tune, amplitude and pitch envelopes, a section to manage the speed of the sample and also a very useful transient shaper to add some extra attack and punch to the drums.

Features

  • 100 Kontakt Instruments
  • 2.450 Samples (44.1kHz / 24Bit)
  • 9 different machines recorded
  • processed in the box and thru outboard gear
